He married Mary West, daughter of Amos West and Frances Herndon, on 4 August 1808 at Logan County, Kentucky; (or 9 Aug 1808 per the records of Mary Ellen Dorsey.)1 He died on 7 December 1847 at Sulphur Spring, Simpson County, Kentucky, at age 62.      Hon. William Alfred Milliken was born on 16 September 1845 at Somerville, Fayette County, Tennessee.1,2 He was the son of Rev. Leonard Hugh Milliken and Mary Lavinia Moody.1 He married Mary Humphreys, daughter of Hon. John Cowan Humphreys, on 3 February 1870. The service was solomnized by the Rev. Leonard Hugh Milliken (William's father) at Fayette County, Tennessee.1,3 He served as a Representative of Montgomery County to the 43rd General Assembly between 1883 and 1885 at Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee.4 He married Elizabeth Crawford Vawter, daughter of Philemon Vawter and Marth Anne Humphreys, on 18 June 1894 at Washington, District of Columbia.5 The cause of death for Hon. William Alfred Milliken was a coronary thrombosis resulting in sudden death.6 He died on 6 June 1931 at Westmount, Province of Quebec, at age 85.7,2,6,8
