     Jesse Fearrington Milliken was a lawyer.3 He was born on 30 July 1888 at Pittsboro, Chatham County, North Carolina.4,2,5 He was the son of Honorable John Rowe Milliken and Annie Bun Fearrington.4 He was called into service as a 2nd Lieutenant. He was stationed at Camp Jackson in South Carolina, Fort Sill in Oklahoma and Camp Meade in Maryland. on 27 November 1917.6 He began military service on 27 November 1917 at USA.6 He ended military service on 9 December 1918 at USA.6 He married Juanita Alexander, daughter of M. A. Alexander and Ida Unknown, on 7 June 1927 at USA.7 He died on 31 August 1957 at Monroe, Union County, North Carolina, at age 69.8

Monroe, Sept. 1--Jesse Fearrington Milliken, 69, died in a local hospital Saturday night. He had been a member of the law firm of Milliken and Richardson for 40 years, until ill health forced him to retire recently.
At the time of his deathhe was the director of the American Bank and Trust Company of Monroe. He had also served as mayor of Monroe, a member of the General Assembly, a trustee of the University of North Carolina, Union County attorney, a council member of the North Carolina State Bar, member of the City School Board, commander of American Legion Post No. 27 and president and chairman of the Union County FairAssociation.
Funeral services will be held in McEwan Funeral Home chapel in Monroe. Dr. Roy F. Whitley, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Monroe, and the Rev. F. B. Drane, rector of St. Paul Episcopal Church, will officiate.
Surviving are one son, J. R. Milliken of Monroe; one daughter, Mrs. William D. Benton of Monroe; two grandchildren; two brothers, Dr. J. B. Milliken of Siler City and Dr. James S. Milliken of Southern Pines; and one sister, Mrs. Fisher Makepeace of Sanford.
Milliken was the son of the late John Rowe and Annie Fearrington Milliken of Pittsboro. His wife, the former Juanita Alexander died a number of years ago.3

Joe Don Milliken

     Joe Don Milliken was born on 11 April 1975 at Canadian, Hemphill County, Texas.1 He was the son of Joe Lynn Milliken and Martha Katherine Tuminaro. He died on 5 September 1991 at Odessa, Ector County, Texas, at age 16.2

Services for Joe Don Milliken, 16, of Odessa are scheduled for 10 a.m. today at Asbury Methodist Church with the Rev. Will Cotton officiating.

Burial will be in Coahoma Cemetery.

Mr. Milliken died Thursday, at Medical Center Hospital. He was born April 11, 1975, in Canadian.

Mr. Milliken was a junior at Permian High School. He swam with the swin team and was a skate boarder. He played Nintendo and was a baseball card collector. He has lived in Odessa since seventh grade.

Survivors include his parents Joe and Mary Milliken of Odessa and Martha Milliken of Midland; a brother Cody Thompson of Odessa; two sisters, Melanie Milliken and Mary Milliken, both of Midland; and grandparents, Russell Milliken of Burnet and Ruth Sotkovski of Midland.

Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.3

He married Martha Katherine Tuminaro on 15 November 1971 at Hemphill County, Texas.1 He and Martha Katherine Tuminaro were divorced before 1985. He married Mary Ann Farris, daughter of Johnnie Dean Farris and Lydia Jo Allcorn, on 25 July 1985 at Ector County, Texas.2

"His father, Judge John Milliken, was a native of North Carolina, who came to Kentucky in his youth, and was reared in that State. He there married Miss Harriet L. Hord. He was a lawyer by profession, and prominent in political and judicial circles. He lost his life in the cause of the South, meeting his death in 1861, while serving as a quartermaster in the Confederate Army."

     John Barnes Milliken was born on 10 December 1893 at Lewisville, Denton County, Texas.2 He was the son of William Dickerson Milliken Sr. and Margaret Crockett Young. He was educated between 1911 and 1915 at Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas. He married Juliette Dandridge King circa 1921.3 He married Maybelle M. Coburn after 1931.1 He died on 2 May 1981 at California at age 87.
