     Margaret Theresa Najvar was born on 13 October 1946 at Atascosa County, Texas.^1,2 She was the daughter of Thomas David Najvar and Anna Albina Zapalac.¹ She died on 31 May 1971 at Lavaca County, Texas, at age 24.²

     Mark Jerome Najvar is the son of Jerome Stephen Najvar and Mary Anne McFadyen.¹ He married Christy M. Caswell on 25 October 2008 at Harris County, Texas.²

     Mary Najvar is the daughter of August Najvar Sr. and Jenovefa Smykal.¹ She married Joseph Salevinski on 14 January 1930 at Karnes County, Texas.²

     Mary Najvar was born in November 1884 at Texas.¹ She was the daughter of Josef Najvar.¹

     Mary Theresa Najvar is the daughter of Jerome Stephen Najvar and Mary Anne McFadyen.¹ She married Robert N. Slaten on 17 October 1992 at Nacogdoches County, Texas.²

Mass of Christian burial for Monica Anne Najvar, 11, of Longview will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. John Brennan and Rev. Gavin Vaverek officiating.
Burial will be in Rosewood Cemetery under the direction of Welch Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be 7:30 p.m. today at the church.
Ms. Najvar died Friday morning in a Dallas hospital.
She was born Jan. 14, 1983, in Longview.
She was a studen at Pine Tree Intermediate School and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Survivors include her parents, Jerry and Maeve Najvar of Longview; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Jetta of Longview; brothers, Stephan and David, both of College Station, Gerald, Mark and Andrew, all of Longview; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Neal Slaten of Nacogdoches; sister Catherine of Longview; Uncles and Aunts, Ivan and Fredaline Najvar of Victoria, Tommy and Helen Najvar of Falls City, Bill Najvar of Kingsville, Betty and Tony Richter of San Antonio, Agnes and Lawrence Porter of Houston, Frances and Donnie Spring of Gonzales, Alice Najvar of Goliad, John and Libby McFadyen of Glasgow, Scotland; and nieces, Shelby Najvar of Longview and Elizabeth Slaten of Nacogdoches.
Memorials may be made to the Michael Fund for Genetic Research, 400 Penn CTR Blvd. Ste 721, Pittsburgh, Pa., 15253. Their main objective is the care and treatment of Down's Syndrome before or after birth.²

     Stephen Paul Najvar is the son of Jerome Stephen Najvar and Mary Anne McFadyen.¹ He married Janet M. Rasbeary on 27 July 1996 at Brazos County, Texas.²

     Theresa Najvar was born in October 1886 at Texas.¹ She was the daughter of Josef Najvar.¹
