Raymond Douglas Chaffin, 57, of Corpus Christi, died Monday, September 1, 1986, in a local hospital after a short illness.
He was working for the South Texas Children's Home.
He is survived by his wife, Mona Chaffin of Corpus Christi; two daughters, Brenda Orosco of Lubbock, Texas and Sherry Stephens of Corpus Christi, Texas; two foster daughters, Pat Martinez and Terry Martinez; three foster sons, Freddie Martinez, Albert Martinez, and Anthony Del Alto, all of Corpus Christi; three brothers, J. C. Chaffin of Loop, Texas, Bob Chaffin of Columbus, Mississippi, and Billy Holladay of Carrollton, Texas; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 4, 1986, at the Lexington Baptist Church with the Rev. Jay Curtis Farrar officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens.
