     Randy Jasper Milliken was born on 17 July 1948 at Clarksville, Montgonery County, Tennessee.1 He was the son of Kelly Jasper Milliken and Nancy Nadine Ross.1,2 He married Donna Crockarell, daughter of Harold Hugh Crockarell and Lucille Frazier, on 16 January 1967 at Dover, Stewart County, Tennessee.3 He died on 13 April 2017 at Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee, at age 68.1

Randy J. Milliken age 68 of Clarksville passed away on Thursday April 13, 2017 at the Signature Healthcare Center in Clarksville. He was born July 17, 1948 in Clarksville, the son of Nadine Ross Crose of Clarksville and the late Bob Milliken. Randy is a graduate of Stewart County High School and served for three years in the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam. He worked for many years as a brick mason and a masonry superintendant with Wasco, Inc. He is survived by his sons Wayne Milliken (Chrissy) of Streetsboro, Ohio; Chris Milliken (Nicole) of DeWitt, MI; and Adam Milliken of Pegram, TN. He is also survived by brothers Ross Milliken of Clarksville; McQuade Milliken of Clarksville; and Greg Milliken of Dover; two sisters Linda Proffit of Memphis and Paula Jacoby of Clarksville. Randy is blessed with three grandchildren Darian Milliken; Caden Milliken; and Cara Milliken. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday April 17, 2017 at the Chapel of Gateway Funeral Home at 1:00 P.M. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Monday for one hour prior to services. Arrangements are under the care of Gateway Funeral Home and Cremation Center 335 Franklin Street Clarksville, TN 37040.      Rena Edna Milliken was born in Russellville, Kentucky, on 8 June 1909, the daughter of
John Wesley and Lizzie G. (Stevenson) Milliken. She had one sister, Ella Louise (Milliken)
Tookie Kemp. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University and her
Masters degree from George Peabody College and did additional academic work at the Bowling
Green College of Commerce (Bowling Green Business University). She joined the faculty at
Union College in Barbourville, Kentucky, in 1946 and stayed there until her retirement when she
returned to Russellville. She was honored as an outstanding faculty member by the Union
College Alumni Association in 1962.
She was active professionally in the Kentucky Business Association, serving one year as
president of that statewide organization. She received a Ford Foundation Fellowship at Indiana
University and the “Economics in Action” Fellowship at Case Institute of Technology. Milliken
also took part at the local and state level in the American Association of University Women and
the American Association of University Professors. She was an active member of the Daughters
of the American Revolution.
A practicing Methodist, Milliken also played an active role in her local church. She died
on 1 April 1998 at Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville and is buried in that city’s Maple
Grove Cemetery.1 She was born on 8 June 1909 at Russellville, Logan County, Kentucky.1,2 She was the daughter of John Wesley Milliken and Lizzie G. Stevenson.1 She died on 1 April 1998 at Russellville, Logan County, Kentucky, at age 88.1,2

RENA MILLIKEN, 88, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, April 1 in the Logan Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of the late John Wesley and Lizzie Stevenson Milliken.

A member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a former professor at Union College.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Ella Louise Milliken Tookie Kemp.

Graveside services were conducted in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Russellville Friday, April 3 at 11 a.m. with Bro. John Webber officiating.2

She was buried on 3 April 1998 at Russellville, Logan County, Kentucky.2

Robert Campbell Milliken1

M, b. 14 January 1861, d. 13 July 1937
     Robert Campbell Milliken was occupied in several endeavors as an attorney, a salesman and an insurance inspector.2,3,4 He was born on 14 January 1861 at Johnson County, Texas.1 He was the son of Capt. Samuel Ramsey Milliken and Annie Henrietta Campbell.1 He was was involved in a shoot-out with Tom Kennedy over a business dispute. The article stated that Mr. Milliken was shot, but also that he was in jail and Mr. Kennedy was recovering. in July 1888.4 He married Olive Jones on 11 June 1890 at Thorp Springs, Hood County, Texas.5,6 He died on 13 July 1937 at Washington District of Columbia at age 76.7,8

Robert C. Milliken Dies in Washington

WASHINGTON, July 13, - Robert C. Milliken, 76, brother of Dr. Samuel E. Milliken of Dallas, died Tuesday at Gallinger Hospital from a hip fracture sustained in a fall last May.
Before the World War Mr. Milliken was a prominent attorney for an insurance company in Dallas. An authority on farm credit and mortgage financing, his manuscript of a book on the subject was in the hands of a publisher at the time of his death. He devoted most of his life to the study of rural credit plans and came to Washington before the war to advise congressional committees on legislation creating the present farm mortgage system. Mr. Milliken also represented a large insurance company here and served as a Capitol guide until 1930. He entered the home for the aged two years ago after his eyesight failed. IT was at the home that he fell last May.8
