     Vickie Lee Jarratt was born on 7 September 1947 at Roscoe, Nolan County, Texas. She was the daughter of James Lester Jarratt and Emma Lucille Dorn. She married Jimmy Ray Rees, son of Charles Louis Rees and Valiere Elizabeth Milliken, on 28 January 1967 at Mitchell County, Texas. She died on 16 November 2004 at Abilene, Taylor County, Texas, at age 57.¹

Mrs. Vickie Lee Rees, 57, of Colorado City died Tuesday night in an Abilene hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m., Friday at First Baptist Church with Reverend Jake Chaney and Reverend Claudine Chaney officiating. Burial will follow in the Dorn Cemetery, directed by Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Rees was born to James and Emma Dorn Jarratt on September 7, 1947 in Sweetwater. She married Jimmy "Jug" Rees on January 28, 1967 in Westbrook. She was a devoted member and pianist for the Christian Fellowship Church for many years. She had been a Mitchell County resident since 1959. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who was loved by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Jimmy Ray "Jug" Rees of Colorado City; son, Craig Lee and wife Misty Marie Rees and their children, Cutter Glenn Rees and Katlyn Nicole Rees all of Westbrook; son, Shawn Aaron and wife, Lisa Rees and their children, Shawn Arron Rees, Jr., Carissa Blair Sutton, Courtney Breanne Sutton, Tony Ray Rees, Joshua Ray Sutton, Cassie Bailey Sutton and Joshua Trea Rees all of Colorado City; one brother, James Don and Becky Jarratt of Cloudcroft, NM and a very special friend, Betty Berkley of Blackwell. She has many other family members who she loved.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
In Lieu of flowers, her family has requested that memorials please be made to the Christian Fellowship Church or a charity of your choice.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:30 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday evening.¹

She was buried on 18 November 2004 at Mitchell County, Texas.

     Hugh C. Jenkins was born in 1877 at USA.¹ He was the son of Thomas Jenkins and Mary Ellen Milliken.¹

     Mary E. Jenkins was born in 1875 at USA.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Jenkins and Mary Ellen Milliken.¹

     Thomas Jenkins was born in 1823 at USA.¹ He married Mary Ellen Milliken, daughter of Hon. George H. Milliken and Adelaide DeSha Buntin, circa 1867 at USA.¹ He died in 1896 at USA.¹

     Sarah Ann Jennings was born on 28 November 1805.² She married James K Pollock before 1825.¹ She died on 20 November 1848 at age 42.²

     Caroline Vilhelmine Jensen was born on 21 July 1818 at Copenhagen, Copenhagen County, Zealand, (Den Kongelige Fodsels Stiftelse or The Royal Birth Institution.)¹ She was the daughter of Joseph Christian Jensen and Elisabeth Sophie Adamsdaughter.¹ She was baptized on 25 July 1818 at Copenhagen, Copenhagen County, Zealand; (Den Kongelige Fodsels Stiftelse or The Royal Birth Institution.)¹ She married Carl Heinrich Albinius Dammschneider, son of Johan Gottfried Dammschneider and Katarina Erdmunthe Hermansen, on 5 May 1854 at Copenhagen, Copenhagen County, Zealand.¹
