     Rev. Maxie Leon Milliken was born on 6 November 1942 at Indian Mound, Stewart County, Tennessee.1,2 He was the son of Leroy Milliken and Earline M. Parker.1 He performed the marriage of Debra Kay Norfleet and Gregory Dean Milliken on 6 July 1989 at Stewart County, Tennessee.3 He died on 4 September 2017 at Tennessee at age 74.1,2 Maxie Leon Milliken, 74 of Indian Mound, TN passed away on Monday, September 4, 2017 at Centennial Medical Center. He was born November 6, 1942 in Indian Mound, TN son of the late Charles and Earline Parker Milliken. Mr. Milliken was an ordained minister, a member of the Local Union 572 Plumbers and Pipefitters and attended New Hope Church of God. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Charlie, Lewis and Zannie Milliken and sisters, Ocie Tyson, Imogene Austin and Nettie Heflin. Survivors include his wife Doris Wallace Milliken, Indian Mound, TN, sons, Jeff Milliken (Glenna), Woodlawn, TN, James Milliken, Nashville, TN, sisters, Peggy Nolen, Cumberland City, TN, Donna Reed, Tenn. Ridge, TN, Betty Summers, Dover, TN, grandchildren, Amanda Veillette, Garrette Milliken and great grandchild, Garrette Trent Milliken.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 12:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Dwayne James and Rev. Garrette Milliken officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunbar Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 5-8:00 pm and Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 10:00 am until the hour of service at Anglin Funeral Home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, TN.2
