     Robert Allen Houst was born on 11 April 1940 at Schenectady, Schenectady County, New York.2 He was the son of Raymond Henry Houst and Grace Victoria Parker.2,3 He married Linda Janice Crump on 14 February 1971 at Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas.2,4 The cause of death for Robert Allen Houst was prostrate cancer on 29 August 2021.2 He died on 29 August 2021 at Burleson, Johnson County, Texas, at age 81.2

He was born April 11, 1940 to Grace Parker Houst and Raymond Henry Houst in Schenectady, New York.
Bob moved to Fort Worth, Texas in 1969 where he met the love of his life, Linda Janice Crump. They were married on February 14, 1971 and later made a home in Burleson Texas. A carpenter by trade, he worked for Stovall Contruction Inc. for 43 years until he retired in 21019 as a construction superintendent.
Bob was a lifelong NASCAR fan. He enjoyed cheering for his favorite racers at TMS and attending local car shows. He found his dream car, a 1930 Model A and was a member of the Fort Worth Model A club for 16 years.
Bob is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda Janice Crump Houst; daughter, Carla Lee Houst Shuler; granddaughter, Elizabeth Janice Emerton; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was precede in death by his parents, Raymond Houst and Grace Houst; two sisters, Mary Morgan and Lorraine Green; and brother, Douglas Houst.
A Celebration of Life will be held September 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Hallmark Baptist Church, 4201 Risinger Road, Fort Worth, Texas.
