     Ruby Lee Humphreys was born on 17 July 1911 at Sumner, Lamar County, Texas.1 She was the daughter of Esca Humphreys and Laura Herd.1 She and Robert Levelle McDaniel obtained a marriage license on 13 September 1929 at DeQueen, Sevier County, Arkansas.3 She married Robert Levelle McDaniel, son of James Robert McDaniel and Mary E. Bishop, on 15 September 1929 at Paris, Lamar County, Texas; probably married in DeQueen, Sevier County, Arkansas where license was obtained.1 She died on 5 January 1994 at Grand Rapids, Itasca County, Minnesota, at age 82.1

MASHWAUK - Ruby L. McDaniel, 82, Nashwauk, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 1994, at the Itasca Nursing Home, Grand Rapids.
She was born July 17, 1911, in Sumner, Texas, to Esca and Laura Herd Humphreys. She married Robert McDaniel in Paris, Texas, Sept. 15, 1929. She was a homemaker and lived at the Deering Manor for almost eight years before moving to Grand Rapids in 1993. She was a member of the Golden Age Club, Nashwauk, and the Cloverdale Mennonite Church.
She is survived by four sons, Earl (Pat) McDaniel, Fayetteville, Ark; James (Joyce) McDaniel, Parsons, Kan; Lee (Marian) McDaniel, Nashwauk; and Paul (Elsie) McDaniel, Northfield, Minn; two daughters, Laura Mayhew, Naples, Texas; and Ruby (William) Rowden, Glassville, Ark; 15 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, in 1981; one daughter, Mary Sue; and two sons, Doyle and Eugene.
Visitation will be at the Range Funeral Home, Hibbing, from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday. Pastor Leslie Gingerich of the Cloverdale Mennonite Church will officiate a 2 p.m. Saturday funeral service at the funeral home.
Burial will be at the Mashwauk Cemetery, Naswauk.1
