     Lee Robert McDaniel was born on 16 April 1943 at Clayton, Panola County, Texas.¹ He was the son of Robert Levelle McDaniel and Ruby Lee Humphreys.¹ He died on 3 March 2005 at Rochester, Olmsted County, Minnesota, at age 61.¹

     Major Cleveland McDaniel was born circa 1884 at Texas.¹ He was the son of James L. McDaniel.³ He died on 29 August 1969 at Panola, Panola County, Texas.²

Carthage - Funeral services for Major Cleveland McDaniel, 86, retired farmer of Carthage, are to be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Hawthorn Funeral Chapel.

The Rev. M. C. Landtroop is to officiate and burial is to be in Antioch Cemetery.

Mr. McDaniel died Friday at morning Panola General Hospital. He was a native of Carthage and a member of the Pentecostal church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Hannah McDaniel, Carthage; four sons, Henry G. McDaniel, Harvey McDaniel, John Neal McDaniel and Shirley McDaniel, all of Carthage; five daughters, Mrs. Opal Irene Brown and Mrs. Lillie Mae Lawless, both of Carthage, Mrs. Emma Jane Barber, Clayton, Mrs. Mary Sue Edge, Clute, and Mrs. Bonnie Belle Bagley, Port Arthur; and 36 grandchildren.²

     Mary Sue McDaniel was born circa April 1940 at Panola County, Texas, Minnesota records list Mary's birth in November 1940. The 1940 census lists her birthday about April 1940.^1,3,4 She was the daughter of Robert Levelle McDaniel and Ruby Lee Humphreys.⁵ She married Edward Llewellyn Jordan, son of Durward E. Jordan and Edith Gwen Jones, on 1 July 1961 at Itasca County, Minnesota.¹ She died on 2 March 1965 at Itasca County, Minnesota.³

     Paul McDaniel is the son of Robert Levelle McDaniel and Ruby Lee Humphreys.¹

     Robert Levelle McDaniel was born on 22 October 1909 at Eros, Jackson Parish, Louisiana, the 1920 Census lists his birthplace as Arkansas.⁴ He was the son of James Robert McDaniel and Mary E. Bishop.⁵ He and Ruby Lee Humphreys obtained a marriage license on 13 September 1929 at DeQueen, Sevier County, Arkansas.⁶ He married Ruby Lee Humphreys, daughter of Esca Humphreys and Laura Herd, on 15 September 1929 at Paris, Lamar County, Texas; probably married in DeQueen, Sevier County, Arkansas where license was obtained.¹ He died on 10 January 1981 at Harrison, Boone County, Arkansas, at age 71.^4,5

Robert McDaniel dies at Harrison

Robert L. McDaniel, 71, of Gassville, died Saturday at Boone County Hospital at Harrison. A resident here since August of 1979, he was formerly of Hashwauk, Minn. He was a retired Miner with Hanna Mining Company at Hibbing, Minn.
Born Oct. 22, 1909 at Eross, La., he was the sone of the late Mary Bishop McDaniel and James Robert McDaniel. He was also preceded in death by one daughter and three brothers.
He and the former Ruby Humphrey were married Sept. 14, 1929 at Paris, Tex. Mrs. McDaniel resides at Gassville.
Other survivors include six sons. Doyle McDaniel and Earl McDaniel, both of Mountain Home, Eugene McDaniel and James McDaniel, both of Parson, Kan., Lee McDaniel of Nashwauk and Paul McDaniel of Hibbing; two daughters, Laura Mayhaw of Omaha, Tex., and Ruby Rouden of Gassville; one brother, Frank McDaniel of Texarkana, Tex; two sisters, Elease Hobbs of Linden, Tex. and May Jo Hale of Colorado Springs, Colo; and 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday at Kirby-Blevins-LaFevers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Cook officiating. Interment took place at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery.⁵
