     William David Loflin also went by the name of Will.1 He was born on 17 February 1881 at Coleman County, Texas.3,4 He was the son of Josiah Young Loflin and Sarah Catherine Hines.5 He married Mary Thomas Asberry, daughter of Thomas B. Asberry and Marguerete Jane Luellen, on 13 January 1907 at Coleman County, Texas.1 He , at age 37, was described as being of medium height and slender build with blue eyes and brown hair when he registered for the WWI draft on 12 September 1918 at Cleburn, Johnson County, Texas.4 He died on 1 October 1956 at Fresno County, California, at age 75.6
