     Sarah Ann Wortham was born on 3 June 1836 at Arkansas. She was the daughter of Joseph White Wortham and Mourning Hallmark.¹ She married Robert Hamilton Milliken, son of Leonard Hugh Milliken and Mary Copeland, circa 1858. She died on 20 August 1907 at Dew, Freestone County, Texas, at age 71.²

In loving remembrance of Grandma Milliken:

Sarah Ann Milliken (nee Wortham) was born June 3rd, 1836; died August 20, 1907. She spent her childhood days in Houston Co., Texas.

She united with the M. E. Church South, at the age of fourteen years and lived a consistent Christian life.

She was married to R. H. Milliken when about twenty-one years of age. To this union were born four children, two of whom survive her, a loving husband and two children having gone before.

She lived a noble Christian life worthy of all praise. Her two children and grandchildren have a loving memory of one whom God in his love hath called home to stay.

Grandma was sick a long time with a cancer and was confined to her room for several months, but patient and as happy, as could be. She knew tour blessed Saviour was near her and would take her to her Heavenly home.

It is sad to part with loved ones, but we know it is only for a short time and then we will all be gathered home to always be happy with loved ones.

Her remains were laid to rest in the Sunshine, cemetery at Dew.

     Selinda Wortham was born circa 1801. She was the daughter of William Taliaferro Wortham Sr. and Sarah Braswell.

     Thomas C. Wortham was born circa 1779 at Virginia. He was the son of Thomas William Wortham and Elizabeth Taliaferro. He died after 1816.

     Thomas Payne Wortham died at USA. He was born circa 1810 at Georgia. He was the son of William Taliaferro Wortham Sr. and Sarah Braswell.

     Thomas William Wortham was born on 27 October 1739 at Middlesex County, Virginia. He was the son of George Wortham Jr. and Anne Grymes. He married Mary Berryman Taliaferro before 1764 at Virginia. He married Elizabeth Taliaferro circa 1770 at Caroline County, Virginia. He died before 1822 at Wilkes County, Georgia.

     William Taliaferro Wortham Sr. was born on 20 March 1768 at Virginia. He was the son of Thomas William Wortham and Mary Berryman Taliaferro. He married Sarah Braswell circa 1799 at Georgia. He died on 20 July 1845 at USA at age 77.

     William Taliferro Wortham Jr. died at Mississippi. He was born on 28 February 1806 at Georgia. He was the son of William Taliaferro Wortham Sr. and Sarah Braswell.

     Zachariah George Wortham was born circa 1812 at Georgia. He died after 1812 at USA. He was the son of William Taliaferro Wortham Sr. and Sarah Braswell.

     Zacharias T. Wortham was born on 24 April 1776 at Virginia. He was the son of Thomas William Wortham and Elizabeth Taliaferro. He died on 8 June 1845 at Meriwether County, Georgia, at age 69.

     Emaline E. Worthy married Satterwhite C. Hallmark, son of John Hallmark and Amy Anna Satterwhite, on 15 January 1868 at Talladega County, Alabama.¹
