     Fred Burnois Shuler was born on 11 October 1905 at Joshua, Johnson County, Texas.1,2 He was the son of Joseph Stevens Shuler and Cora Ellen Waddell.1 He married Lela Belle McCraw on 25 January 1925 at Bonham, Fannin County, Texas.2 He died on 17 February 1991 at Denison, Grayson County, Texas, at age 85.2

Fred Burnois Shuler

Services for Fred Burnois Shuler, age 85, of 2013 Franklin in Bonham, who died Sunday, Feb. 17 at Care Inn Nursing Home in Denison, are scheduled at 4 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Bonham under the direction of Cooper-Sorrells in Bonham. Burial will be in Willow Wild Cemetery with the Rev. Roger Marsh and Rev. W.C. Beasley officiating.

Shuler was born October 11, 1905 in Joshua to Joseph Stephen Shuler and Cora Waddell. He married Lela McCraw on January 25, 1925 in Bonham. Shuler was a barber and a member and deacon of the First Baptist Church in Bonham. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge, Constatine #13.

Surviving are her wife of the home; one son, Melvin Shuler of Fort Worth; a daughter, Marlene Fugate of Denison; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

George Michael Shuler1

     George Michael Shuler was born in 1805 at Grayson County, Virginia. He was the son of Michael Nicholas Shuler Jr. and Charity Anna Myers. He married Phoebe Russell, daughter of Phillip Russell and Rebecca Russell, on 24 March 1830 at Grayson County, Virginia. He married Margaret Anderson on 11 March 1861 at Grayson County, Virginia.2 The cause of death for George Michael Shuler was written as Gravel, otherwise known as Kidney Stones.3 He died on 24 October 1869 at Comers Rock, Grayson County, Virginia.3
