     Hon. William Alfred Milliken was born on 16 September 1845 at Somerville, Fayette County, Tennessee.1 He was the son of Rev. Leonard Hugh Milliken and Mary Lavinia Moody.1 He married Mary Humphrey circa 1860.1 He served as a Representative of Montgomery County to the 43rd General Assembly between 1883 and 1885 at Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee.2 He died on 6 June 1931 at age 85.3

     William DeWitt Milliken Jr. was born on 18 April 1922 at Smiths Grove, Warren County, Kentucky.1 He was the son of William DeWitt Milliken Sr. and Winifred Clark Ellis.1 He married Gloria Elaine Pace, daughter of John Barker Pace and Genevieve Hutchison, circa 1953.1,2 He died on 21 December 2012 at Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee, at age 90.1 He was buried on 23 December 2012 at Allensville, Todd County, Kentucky.1

William "Bill" DeWitt Milliken, Jr., 90, of Clarksville, TN, died on Friday, December 21, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center. He was born on April 18, 1922 in Smiths Grove, Kentucky to the late William DeWitt Milliken, Sr. and Winifred Ellis Milliken. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Margaret Milliken Page and Virginia Milliken Nuckols.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Skip Armistead officiating. Burial will be in Belmont Cemetery in Allensville, KY. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2012 from 4-7 p.m. and Sunday, December 23, 2012 from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Bill was an U.S. Air Corp Veteran, having served in WWII. He was a retired locksmith at Ft. Campbell, KY. He was a member of Hilldale United Methodist Church, Warioto Audubon Society, American Birding Association, and Tennessee Ornithological Society.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Pace Milliken of Clarksville, TN; William DeWitt Milliken, III of Clarksville, TN; daughter, Elaine Milliken Foust of Clarksville, TN; and four grandchildren, Glenn Foust, J.D. Milliken, Megan Woods, and Rachel Milliken.

     William DeWitt Milliken Sr. was also known as Dewitt.5 He was Methodist Minister.6 He was born on 22 August 1885 at Kentucky.1 He was the son of George Wesley Milliken and Luella Macpherson Perkins.1 He appeared on the census of 20 June 1900 in the household of George Wesley Milliken and Luella Macpherson Perkins at Stallard Springs, Warren County, Kentucky.5 He appeared on the census of 23 April 1910 in the household of Luella Macpherson Perkins at Bowling Green, Warren County, Kentucky.7 He married Winifred Clark Ellis, daughter of Beaufort G. Ellis, circa 1916 at Kentucky.8,9 He died on 22 September 1964 at Logan County, Kentucky, at age 79.10,11

William Dickerson Milliken

     William Dickerson Milliken was born on 15 September 1876 at Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas.1 He was the son of William Dickerson Milliken Sr. and Margaret Crockett Young. He died on 12 April 1940 at Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, at age 63.

W. D. Milliken, Merchant of Lewisville Dies

William D. Milliken, 63, head of one of the oldest mercantile houses in Lewisville and board chairman of the First National Bank there, died in a Dallas hospital at 8:30 p.m. Friday following an operation.
Born in Fort Worth, Mr. Milliken had lived in Lewisville since he was three years old. He joined the dry goods firm founded by his father, the late W. D. Milliken, soon after being graduated from Southwestern University, Georgetown, and the business administration school of Soule University, New Orleans.
He was many times worshipful master of the Lewisville Masonic Lodge and was past deputy grand master of the Eighty-Fourth Masonic District.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Lewisville Methodist Church, if which he was a member and an officer. The Rev. Gibbs Mood, McKinney, will officiate. Burial will be in the Old Hall Cemetery there.
Survivors include three brothers, M. Horace Milliken and Charles Young Milliken, Lewisville, and John B. Milliken, Los Angeles, and a sister, Miss Lina Milliken, who is a teacher in the Fort Worth public schools.2

He was buried on 14 April 1940 at Lewisville, Denton County, Texas.

     William Dickerson Milliken Sr. was born on 1 November 1848 at Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky.1 He was the son of Martin Harbison Milliken and Elizabeth Angeline Gholson. He lived with Elizabeth Angeline Gholson circa 1858 at Parker County, Texas.2 He married Margaret Crockett Young, daughter of Colonel William Barnes Young and Nancy Bowen Gillespie, on 17 September 1874 at Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas.1 He died on 29 August 1916 at Lewsiville, Denton County, Texas, at age 67. He was buried on 30 August 1916 at Lewisville, Denton County, Texas.
