Maudie was born January 28, 1938, in Clarksville, TN, to the late John Arthur Norris and Willie Mae McDaniel. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, September 25, at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Burial will follow at Mallory's Chapel Cemetery, in Chapmansboro, TN. Visitation will be Saturday, September 24, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM, and Sunday, September 25, from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Traylor is survived by her husband of 64 years, Joe M. Traylor, Sr; four sons, Joe (Jeanie) Traylor, Jr., Larry Traylor, Steve (Geneva) Traylor, and Jeff (Edy) Traylor; two daughters, Sandra (David) Muzio and Tina (Joe) Huff; two sisters, Elaine Christian and Joan Norris; one brother, Billy McDaniel; fourteen grandchildren; and twenty-six great grandchildren.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
