     Addison Earl Currie was born on 22 January 1918 at Belmont, Sabine Parish, Louisiana.¹ He died on 22 May 1967 at Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, at age 49.¹

Currie Funeral at Colorado City

Colorado City - Funeral for A. E. Currie, 49, was to be held in Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Laing, pastor, officiating.
Burial was to be in Colorado City Cemetery under the direction of Kiker and Son Funeral Home.
Mr. Currie died at 5:17 a.m. Monday in Fort Worth after an apparent heart attack.
He was a truck driver for Steer Tank Co. and had lived in Colorado City since 1921. He was born Jan. 22, 1918, in Sabine Parish, La. and married Margaret Clouse here in 1943.
He was a World War II veteran, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife; his stepfather and mother, Mr. and Mrs C. L. Kiser of Midland; one son, Alton E. of Lewisville; a daughter, Wilma Joyce Currie of the home; five brothers, Mearl Currie of Colorado City, Johnnie Currie of Midland, Douglas Currie of Graham, Bob Kiser of Carrollton and Bill Kiser of Georgia; and one grandchild.¹

     Alton Earl Currie was born on 23 December 1943 at San Francisco, San Francisco County, California.² He was the son of Addison Earl Currie.³ He married Glenda Jo Bradley, daughter of Charles Louis Rees and Valiere Elizabeth Milliken, on 12 July 1975 at Mitchell County, Texas.⁴ He died on 29 July 2023 at Tyler, Smith County, Texas, at age 79.^5,2

Alton Currie Obituary

Alton Currie, 79, was born on December 23, 1943 in San Francisco, CA and passed away on July 29, 2023 in Tyler, TX. Alton was employed by Texas Utilities and served in the 17th Cavalry of the US Army.      Ruth M. Currie is the daughter of Robert I. Currie and Ida M. Sarce.¹ She married Harry Otto Boles, son of Wesley W. Boles and Rachael Elizabeth Holden, on 25 March 1912 at Marion County, Indiana.¹ She and Harry Otto Boles were divorced before 1919 at Indiana.²

     Richard Currier married Mary Whelan Prue before 1935.¹ He and Mary Whelan Prue were divorced in 1936.¹

     Agatha Curry was born on 16 May 1910 at Freestone County, Texas.¹ She was the daughter of James Jefferson Curry and Ammah Grace Milliken.¹ She died on 20 September 1912 at Freestone County, Texas, at age 2.¹

     Benton L. Curry Jr. is the son of Benton L. Curry Sr. and Ethel M. London.¹
