     Addison Earl Currie was born on 22 January 1918 at Belmont, Sabine Parish, Louisiana.1 He died on 22 May 1967 at Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, at age 49.1

Currie Funeral at Colorado City

Colorado City - Funeral for A. E. Currie, 49, was to be held in Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Laing, pastor, officiating.
Burial was to be in Colorado City Cemetery under the direction of Kiker and Son Funeral Home.
Mr. Currie died at 5:17 a.m. Monday in Fort Worth after an apparent heart attack.
He was a truck driver for Steer Tank Co. and had lived in Colorado City since 1921. He was born Jan. 22, 1918, in Sabine Parish, La. and married Margaret Clouse here in 1943.
He was a World War II veteran, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife; his stepfather and mother, Mr. and Mrs C. L. Kiser of Midland; one son, Alton E. of Lewisville; a daughter, Wilma Joyce Currie of the home; five brothers, Mearl Currie of Colorado City, Johnnie Currie of Midland, Douglas Currie of Graham, Bob Kiser of Carrollton and Bill Kiser of Georgia; and one grandchild.1

Alton Currie, 79, was born on December 23, 1943 in San Francisco, CA and passed away on July 29, 2023 in Tyler, TX. Alton was employed by Texas Utilities and served in the 17th Cavalry of the US Army.
