     Joseph Bonaham was born circa 1798 at Grayson County, Virginia.1 He was the son of William Bonaham and Elizabeth Williams.1 He married Tabitha L. Russell, daughter of Phillip Russell and Rebecca Russell, on 29 August 1822 at Grayson County, Virginia.1 He died in February 1881 at Grayson County, Virginia.1
