     Peggy Joyce Shuler was born on 6 June 1933 at Tarrant County, Texas.¹ She was the daughter of Marion Cicero Shuler and Winnie L. Brooks.^1,2 She married Norman Earl Brown, son of George Wesley Brown and Ethel Pearl Seamster, circa 1954.³ She married William C. Dimmick on 16 April 2004 at Hood County, Texas. She died on 12 August 2025 at Granbury, Hood County, Texas, at age 92.^4,5

Peggy Joyce Brown, age 92, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025, at home in Granbury, Texas surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born in Fort Worth, TX to Marion C. and Winnie Shuler. She grew up in Handley and graduated from Poly High School. In 1951, Peggy married Norman Earl Brown. They were married over 52 years. Peggy retired from First National Bank in Arlington. Norman and Peggy traveled all over the United States in their motor home, frequently taking their grandchildren with them. When Norman passed, Peggy moved to Granbury to be near her children. Then, her dear friend, William Dimmick, asked Peggy to be his wife. They were married 20 years and traveled extensively.

Peggy loved her family, and she loved to shop, travel, and eat out, especially at Baked! and Chick Fil A. And she and Will loved HEB.

Peggy is survived by her daughter Susan Black and husband, Terry, and son Jerry Brown and wife Judith. Grandchildren, Steve Black, Mark Black, Danielle Taft, Callie Brown and Victor Leonard, and Kyle Brown and wife Samantha. In addition, Peggy’s three great granddaughters, Braylee Black, Zaylee Dodd, and Amelia Black.

Peggy leaves behind numerous loving family members and special friends, particularly Beverly Anderson, who has been her best friend for over 60 years.

Peggy was preceded in death by first husband, Norman Brown, second husband, Will Dimmick, sister Mary Arteese, brother, Bobby Charles Shuler, parents, Marion Shuler and Winnie Brooks Shuler, brothers, Glenn Shuler and Billy Shuler.

     Permelia A. Shuler was born on 15 July 1872 at USA.¹ She was the daughter of George Shuler and Sarah Ratts.¹ She married Walter J. Myrick on 4 June 1892 at Morgan County, Indiana.¹ She died in June 1930 at USA at age 57.¹

     Peter Shuler was born circa 1740.¹ He was the son of Johann Adam Shuler and Opalone Unknown.¹ He married Mary Catherine Unknown after 1760.²

     Phebe Shuler was born circa 1845 at Virginia.¹ She was the daughter of David Shuler and Polly Garden.^1,2

     Philemon Shuler was born circa 1842 at Grayson County, Virginia.¹ He was the son of Michael Shuler and Ann Russell.¹ He married Luticia Unknown in August 1869 at USA.¹ He died circa 1870 at USA.¹

     Philip Eugene Shuler is the son of Billy Ray Shuler and Evelyn Louise Barrett.¹ He married Melissa Kay Burney, daughter of Harold Lee Burney and Mary Frances Willis, on 2 October 1999 at Johnson County, Texas.² He and Melissa Kay Burney were divorced on 17 August 2009 at Johnson County, Texas. He married Tracy L. Rouse on 13 May 2011 at Johnson County, Texas.³

     Rev. Philip Lofton Shuler was a farmer and a minister.^4,3 He was born circa 1831 at Virginia.^1,5 He was the son of George Michael Shuler and Phoebe Russell.¹ He married Easter Emeline Gollahon on 3 November 1857 at Ashe County, North Carolina.^1,6,7 He married Mary S. Hackler, daughter of Peter Hackler and Barbara Unknown, on 14 April 1864 at Grayson County, Virginia.⁸ He married Charlotte Magill, daughter of John Magill, in 1890 at Indiana.⁹ He died on 19 May 1915 at Martinsville, Morgan County, Indiana.⁴ The cause of death for Rev. Philip Lofton Shuler was a cerebral hemorrhage.⁴

     Preston P. Shuler was born after 1856 at Page County, Virginia.¹ He was the son of William D. Shuler and Sarah Ann Koontz.¹

     Raymon Brazil Shuler was born on 21 August 1904 at Joshua, Johnson County, Texas. He was the son of Hamon Shuler and Matilda Francis Asberry. He married Bertha Allene Terry, daughter of Thomas S. Terry, after 1930 at Johnson County, Texas. He and Bertha Allene Terry appeared on the census of 23 April 1940 at Johnson County, Texas.¹ He died on 25 February 1970 at Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, at age 65. He was buried in March 1970 at Burleson, Johnson County, Texas.

     Raymond Lee Shuler is the son of Billy Ray Shuler and Evelyn Louise Barrett.¹ He married Kimberly Dawn Bunch on 10 May 2003 at Johnson County, Texas.² He and Kimberly Dawn Bunch were divorced on 14 June 2010 at Johnson County, Texas.³ He married Carla Lee Houst, daughter of Robert Allen Houst and Linda Janice Crump, on 14 June 2014 at Tarrant County, Texas.^4,5
