Autie Viola Stroud1

Autie Viola Stroud was born on 8 February 1895 at Freestone County, Texas.1,2 She married Fred Barnett Richardson, son of John Whitney Richardson and Mary Louise Cobbs, before 1917.1 She died on 27 August 1986 at Freestone County, Texas, at age 91.1,3 She was buried on 28 August 1986 at Freestone County, Texas.1 Funeral Services were held Friday afternoon for Freestone county native Autie Viola Richardson, 91, who died last Wednesday. Mrs. Richardson was born Feb 8, 1895, in Freestone county and lived in Fairfield.
She was a homemaker and member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Richardson, who died March 30, 1983.
Services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Donald Pruitt officiating. He was assisted by Dr. Bryon Orand. Special music was provided by organist Frank O'Banion and Mr. and Mrs. Perry Orand who performed "Grace Greater Than Our Sins" and "Beulah Land".
Burial was at Antioch Cemetery in Fairfield.
Pallbearers were Morris Wald, Sid Stroud, John Stroud, Wiley Stroud, Ralph Thompson and Warren Stroud. Honary pallbearers were J.D. Harris, Peyton Awalt, Leonard Denton, Glen White, C.L. Mullen, Curtis Freeman, Hollis Lambert, and Albert York.
Mrs. Richardson is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Gene Orand and Mrs. Mildred Burkhart, both of Fairfield; a son Newburn Richardson of Fairfield; three sisters, Mrs. Linwood Orand of Wimberly, Mrs. Minnie Youngblood of Dallas and Alma hughes of Gallup, N.M; a brother, Zack Stroud of Fairfield; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Arrangements were made by the Capps Memorial Chapel of Fairfield.2
