     David Kendrick Shuler was born on 5 June 1849 at Morgan County, Indiana.1 He was the son of James Johnston Shuler and Mary Ann Lee.2 He sold his farm of 87-1/2 acres in Jackson Township to Dora and Henry Huxley and gained a house and property on North Maple Street, Martinsville, Indiana in the deal. before 10 April 1908.3 He married Louise Mason on 12 April 1908 at Martinsville, Morgan County, Indiana.1,4 He died on 27 September 1935 at Martinsville, Morgan County, Indiana, at age 86.1
