Agnes Hensley

F, b. circa 1763, d. between 1840 and 1850
     Agnes Hensley was also known as Ankey.1 She was born circa 1763 at Buckingham County, Virginia. She married William Godsey, son of Thomas Godsey and Phoebe Lacy, on 14 January 1779 at Buckingham County, Virginia.2 She died between 1840 and 1850 at Sullivan County, Tennessee.3

EDGERTON, Wis. - Ursula Mae Showers, 72, of Edgerton passed away Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2005, at Rock Haven Nursing Home in Janesville, Wis. She was born April 28, 1933, in St. Charles, Minn., the daughter of the late Alvin and Victoria (Lund) Hermanson.

Ursula married James Showers in 1989 in Winona, Minn.

Ursula was a tribal member of the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians.

She is survived by her husband, James Showers of Edgerton; children, Gwen (Janice) Jordan of Fort Wayne, Ind., Douglas Jordan of Milton, Wis., Scott Jordan of Janesville, Wis., Matthew (Sarita) Jordan of Edgerton, Jan Jordan of Milton and Denise Jordan of Nebraska; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Valeria Donahue of Winona.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Jordan; and two brothers, David and Richard.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 10, at noon at Whitcomb-Lynch-Albrecht Funeral Home, Edgerton, with Pastor James Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Fassett Cemetery, Edgerton.

A visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to noon at the funeral home.
