     Hattie M. Shuler was born on 15 June 1857 at Morgan County, Indiana.^1,2 She was the daughter of John Kendrick Shuler Jr. and Sarah Jane Grounds.¹ She died on 2 July 1903 at Morgan County, Indiana, at age 46.²

     Heather Leigh Shuler is the daughter of Martin Douglas Shuler and Karen Leigh Barnes.¹ She married Derek Michael Brooks on 17 April 2001 at Madison, Jefferson County, Indiana.¹

     Henry C. Shuler was born in September 1857 at Morgan County, Indiana.^1,3 He was the son of James Johnston Shuler and Mary Ann Lee.¹ He married Hannah Lucetta Dow on 12 March 1882 at Morgan County, Indiana.^4,2 He died on 20 September 1939 at Morgan County, Indiana.⁵

Henry Shuler, age 82, well known Ashland township farmer, died Wednesday night at 9:55 o'clock at his home after a long illness. He had a large circle of friends who will regret to hear of his death.
Surviving relatives are three daughters, Mrs. Corda Sykes, north of Paragon, Mrs. Laura Demaree, of Iowa, and Mrs. Rose Rone, of Bloomington; two sons, Clark Shuler, of Lake Village, and William Shuler, of Paragon, and one sister, Mrs. Emily Guy, also of Paragon.
The funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock in the Olive church in Ashland township.

     Ira Fleming Fielden Shuler was born on 28 August 1863 at Grayson County, Virginia.¹ He was the son of Abraham Shuler and Hannah Bonaham.² He died on 1 August 1889 at USA at age 25.¹

     Jacob O. Shuler was born on 4 February 1859 at Page County, Virginia.¹ He was the son of William D. Shuler and Sarah Ann Koontz.¹ He married Annie Cook, daughter of Joseph Cook and Martha Barnes, on 6 November 1884 at Grant Township, Reno County, Kansas.^1,2
