     Cora Ellen Waddell was born in March 1873 at Lee County, Virginia.1,2,3 She was the daughter of C. Waddell and Mary Elizabeth Williver.4 She married Joseph Stevens Shuler, son of Steve Shuler and Mattie Allen, on 8 November 1888 at Lee County, Virginia.4 She died on 6 March 1944 at Bonham, Fannin County, Texas.5,6

Funeral Services Held Today For Mrs. Cora Shuler

Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Ellen Shuler, 69, who died at her home here at 2:45 p. m. Monday, were held at 4 p. m. today from Mikel-Brown Funeral Home, with the Rev. J. I. Gregory officiating. Burial following in Willow Wild cemetery.
Mrs. Shuler was born in Virginia but had resided in Texas many years.
Survivors are her husband, J. S. Shuler; three daughters, Mrs. Earl Walker, Bonham; Mrs. M. F. Lee, Blanchard, Okla., Miss Agnes Shu;er, Bonham; four sons, Ray and Lowell Shuler, Bonham; Jim Shuler, Stafford, Kans; Fred Shuler, Dallas.
Pallbearers were Dewey McKelva, Deets Dorough, Ernest Hickfang, Kurt Gopfforth, Herman Duncan, and True Adams.7
