     Mary Ann Rhea was born on 4 August 1840.1 She was the daughter of Pleasant Rhea and Mariah Killough.2 She married George W. Smith, son of John Williams Smith and Mariah Hunter, on 23 August 1860 at Rhea County, Tennessee.1,3 She died on 6 October 1926 at age 86.1
