     Doreen Benington was born on 9 March 1948.² She graduated in 1965 at Melbourne, Brevard County, Florida.² She married Wiley Albert Boles, son of Ralph Olan Boles and Beatrice Genevieve Axum, on 26 April 1968.¹ She died on 24 November 2009 at Murphy, Cherokee County, North Carolina, at age 61.³

     Ashlie Bennett is the daughter of Russell Glenn Bennett and Clara Evelyn Barnett.¹

     Chasity Hope Bennett is the daughter of Randall Lynn Bennett and Dena Reyna Shuler.¹ She married Zachary Alexander Neeper on 28 November 2004 at Johnson County, Texas.³ She and Zachary Alexander Neeper were divorced in 2020 at Texas.⁴ She married Nicole Murphree, daughter of Robert William Murphree and Shirley Gaye Talbert, circa October 2021 at Texas.⁴

     DeAnna Bennett is the daughter of Russell Glenn Bennett and Clara Evelyn Barnett.¹ She married Nicolas Bardin on 10 June 2010 at Texas.²

He was born on 30 September 1896 at Texas. He was the son of Robert Hunter Bennett.² He married Juanita Brown, daughter of John Christopher Brown and Unknown Annie Unknown, before 1924. He and Juanita Brown appeared on the census of 12 April 1930 at Dallas, Dallas County, Texas.³ He and Juanita Brown appeared on the census of 13 April 1940 at Dallas, Dallas County, Texas.⁴ He died on 30 March 1981 at Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, at age 84.

     Frank Russell, Jr. Bennett was born on 11 September 1929 at Dallas, Dallas County, Texas. He was the son of Frank Russell Bennett Sr. and Juanita Brown. He married Mary Virginia Pierce, daughter of William Bryant Pierce and Mary Annie Hooper, on 7 June 1957 at Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky.^1,2 He died on 31 December 2023 at Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky, at age 94.^3,4

RERITRED DOM, SOUTHERN PROFESSOR DIES

LOUISVILLE — Dr. Frank Russell Bennett, Jr., born in 1929, died Dec. 31, 2023.

Dr. Bennett's life was characterized by his unwavering commitment to his faith and his tireless efforts in various areas of ministry.

He served as the director of missions for the Long Run Baptist Association (now Louisville Regional Baptist Association), where he touched the lives of countless individuals and made a lasting impact on the Baptist community.

He was a professor at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he shaped the next generation of spiritual leaders. He also served as the director of missions for the Southern Baptist Home Mission Board.

He was a beloved husband to Jennye Bennett and a loving father to three daughters: Beth Bennett, Lorrie Bennett and Keli Walbert; six grandchildren: Melissa Thorenson, Bennett Dettlinger, Cameron Dettlinger, Pierce Jeske, Amanda Walbert and Timothy Walbert.

A celebration of his life will be held at St. Matthews Baptist Church on Saturday, Jan. 27 at 11 a.m. with reception to follow.⁴

     Heather Dyan Bennett is the daughter of Russell Glenn Bennett and Clara Evelyn Barnett.¹ She married John Kirk Kinney on 17 May 2008 at Rockwall County, Texas.³

     Lacey Reyna Bennett is the daughter of Randall Lynn Bennett and Dena Reyna Shuler.¹ She married Keith Wayne Allen on 18 October 2008 at Tarrant County, Texas.³
