     Alfred M. Hallmark was born on 19 June 1817 at Blount County, Alabama.¹ He was the son of George William Washington Hallmark and Sarah Calvert.¹ He began military service on 6 March 1836 at Texas.² He ended military service circa June 1836 at Texas and fought at the battle of San Jacinto.² He married Sarah Hallmark, daughter of John Hallmark and Amy Anna Satterwhite, circa 1842 at USA.¹ He died on 16 April 1880 at Houston County, Texas, at age 62.¹
