     Bertha Ethel Treace was born on 17 July 1898 at Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.2,3 She married William Walter Hinds, son of George Hinds and Ida Slaughter, before 1924 at USA.

Mrs. Bertha Hinds, 75, of 612 S. Jackson St., Belton, died Friday in a Killeen nursing home after a long illness.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Heartfield Funeral Home, the Rev. S. W. Oates officiating. Burial will be in the Resthaven Cemetery.

Her husband, Walter Hinds preceded her in death in 1949.

Surviving are a son, Arvie Hinds of Belton; two daughters, Miss Sarah Hinds of Killeen and Mrs. Luther Wright of Big Spring, two stepsons, Houston Hinds of Kerrville and Mack Hinds of Brady; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Bud Marratte of Camp Wood and Mrs. Loyol Himan of Kempner; and three grandsons.

Pallbearers will be Robert Huckabee, William E. Petty. D. Bender, James Piece, Leo Bender, O. B. Andrews and Floyd Blair.

     Mary A. Tredo was born on 24 June 1892 at Vergennes, Addison County, Vermont.1,3,2 She was the daughter of Charles Tredo and Alice LaBeau.4,5 She married Chester Benjamin Jordan, son of Cora Jordan, on 13 August 1909 at Brandon, Rutland County, Vermont.1

Mrs. Chester Jordan, who had been ill for a year or more with tuberculosis, dies this morning. Funeral serviceswill be held Friday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Peter's church, with burial at St. Peter's cemetery. Mrs. Jordan's maiden name was Mary Tredo. She was born in this city June 24, 1891, the daughter of Charles Tredo, and her entire life had been spent here. She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Elsie, aged five, a son, Clyde, aged two; her father, Charles Tredo, two brothers, William and Bernard, all of this city; and two sisters, Mrs. Alice Newton of Lynn, Mass., and Miss Madeline Tredo of Bristol.3

She died on 16 March 1916 at Vergennes, Addison County, Vermont, at age 23; died of turberculosis.3
