Muncie, Ind (Spl.)--Dr. Clifford Shuler, 61 years old, died yesterday in Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, after a 4-day illness.
Dr. Shuler, a veterinary, had been chief of the fire department at Eaton 31 years and had served one term as trustee of Union Township, in which Eaton is located. He also was a member of the Masonic lodge, the Moose lodge and the Lions club.
Surviving him are his widow, Orpha, Eaton; his father, Franklin Shuler, and two brothers, Walter and Basil Shuler, all of Indianapolis; a brother, Abe Shuler, Eaton, and two daughters, Mrs, Sara Heath, Muncie, and Mrs Jane Prewitt, Eaton.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the home in Eaton, and at 2 p.m. at the Hall and Son Mortuary in Mooresville. Burial will be at Mooresville.2
