Charles Kenneth Boles was born on 6 January 1911 at Evansville, Vanderburgh County, Indiana.1 He was the son of Charles Owen Boles and Clara Blanche Mason.1 He married Edna Rosene Morris, daughter of Andrew J Morris and Edna L Unknown, on 5 June 1937 at Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana.1,2 He died on 31 December 2005 at Galt, Sacramento County, California, at age 94.1,3 Kenneth Charles Boles

Kenneth Charles Boles was born in Evansville, Indiana, on January 6, 1911 to
Charles Owen Boles and Blanche Mason Boles. Charles worked for Hercules Buggy
Co. in Evansville. The family moved to Indianapolis when Kenneth was two years
old. He attended Indianapolis public school through the eighth grade. He
worked as a messenger for Postal Telegraph through his teens. He was married
to Edna Rosene Morris on June 5, 1937. Their first son, David Charles was born
on March 21, 1938, Jerry Andrew was born on December 13, 1941, William Kenneth
was born on April 12, 1946, Joseph Arthur on June 4, 1948, all in
Indianapolis, and Thomas Paul on November 17, 1949 in Bakersfield. Kenny also
leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Kenny worked for
Armour Meat Packing Co., Curry Miller Veneer Mill, Omar Bakery, and Banquet
Milk Co. during the late thirties and the forties. The family moved to
Bakersfield, California in the fall of 1948, joining Ednas mother, Edna
Morris. In Bakersfield each of the boys was, in turn, active in Cub Scouts and
Kenny was active in pack outings. Kenny and Edna were active in the newly
formed Christ the King parish in Oildale. Kenny was baptized as a Catholic in
1952. Kenny worked as a route salesman for the former Kirk Ragland Dairy in
Bakersfield. He worked for both the Santa Fe and Southern Pacific Railroads.
He was with Lockheed during their stay in Bakersfield in the fifties. He
worked for the last twenty years before he retired at Dicco Co. (later Granite
Sand & Gravel) in Parts service. In his younger years, after he was married,
Kenny was an active and excellent amateur photographer. He was an active
gardener for many years. A particular joy of his was railroad modeling. After
he retired, Kenny and Edna enjoyed camping in their tent trailer. Kenny and
Edna were active for several years in the Kern County Museum Alliance.4

He married Clara Blanche Mason, daughter of David Mason and Alta Smith, on 12 June 1909 at Spencer, Owen County, Indiana.1,5 He was employed by Hercules Buggy Company circa 1910 at Evansville, Vanderburgh County, Indiana. He and Clara Blanche Mason lived in 1913 at Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana. He and Clara Blanche Mason were divorced between 1920 and 1930 at Indiana.6 He died in March 1965 at Indiana at age 79.4
