She was the daughter of Gottlieb Henry Schoellkopf and Hedwig Boll.2 She married Dr. Samuel Ramsey Milliken M.D., son of William Dickerson Milliken Sr. and Margaret Crockett Young, before 1917.1 She and Dr. Samuel Ramsey Milliken M.D. lived in 1917 at Dallas, Dallas County, Texas.1 She died on 12 December 1957 at Dallas, Dallas County, Texas.2 She was buried circa 13 December 1957 at Dallas, Dallas County, Texas.2 Obituary for Elsa Caroline Milliken from the "Dallas Morning News" on December 13, 1957.

"Mrs. S. Ramsey Milliken Dies of Traffic Injuries - Mrs. S. Ramsey Milliken, 72 of 4539 Westway, a daughter of the founder of Dallas' oldest business institution, died early Thursday in a Dallas hospital of injuries received in a traffic accident Dec. 5.
Her husband, Dr. Samuel Ramsey Milliken, was a prominent Dallas physician, he died in 1921.
The former Elsa Caroline Schoellkopf, she was the daughter of G.H. Schoellkopf, who came to Texas after the Civil War as a buffalo hide and leatherer buyer for his family's New York firm.
Recognizing Texas' business potential, he opened his own leather harness and saddlery store in Dallas in 1869 - the Schoellkopf Company, which today manufactures numerous products.
Mrs. Milliken attended St. Mary's College in Dallas with her twin sister, Mrs. Emma Norsworthy. Then studied abroad, attending Paulinenstift College in Friedrickhshafen, Germany, Bois de Fey College in Geneva, Switzerland and a cooking school in Stuttgart, Germany. Returning to Dallas, they both married and had since remained neighbors.
Mrs. Milliken was active in numerous charities. Serving on the Greater Dallas Board of City Missions, she provided scholarships for many of Dallas' Latin American students. She was also on the board of directors for the Rankin Community Center.
Active in the Highland Park Methodist Church, she was charter member of its Bible Discussion Class and in the Woman's Society of Christian Service.
She belonged to the Dallas Garden Club and was a charter member of the Dallas Woman's Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Richard W. Phelan; a brother, Hugo W. Schoellkopf Sr; three sisters, Mrs. Morgan M. Mayfield, Mrs. G.O. Moore and Mrs. Norsworthy, and three grandchildren. They are all of Dallas.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Sparkman-Brand Funeral Chapel, 2115 Ross, with Dr. W.H. Dickinson Jr., acting pastor of the Highland Park Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Fred Schoellkopf Jr., Wilson Schoellkopf, Clarence Norsworthy Jr., George Norsworthy, Tom Norsworthy, Hugo Norsworthy Jr., James F. Chambers Jr. and John A. Phelan Jr."2

"Mrs Norsworthy, Leader In Mission Projects, Dies - Mrs. C. L. Norsworthy, 76, of 4539 Westway, active for many years in Dallas civic organizations, died Friday morning in a Dallas hospital.
Mrs. Norsworthy was the daughter of Hedwig and G.H. Schoellkopf, early Southwestern industrialist family. She was educated at St. Mary's College in Dallas and studied in Switzerland. On July 8, 1913, she married Dallas jeweler, C. L. Norsworthy, who died in 1933.
She was an active member of the Gaston Avenue Baptist Church and did extensive work as chairman of the Home Ministry Committee until 1956. She was honored by her church in 1959 for her long record of visiting the aged and ill, driving them to hospitals and doctor's offices and quietly meeting the financial needs of many.
She had provided full support for a number of foreign missionaries and had opened her home for many church functions. Mrs. Norsworthy was also a leader in the Dallas Woman's Club, the Marianne Scruggs Garden Club and the Three Arts Club.
Survivors, all of Dallas, are three sons, C. L. Norsworthy Jr., George H. Norsworthy and Thomas Norsworthy; one sister Mrs. G. O. Moore; one brother, Hugo W. Schoellkopf; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Gaston Avenue Baptist Church, 4024 Gaston, with Dr. Harold Basden Officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be James F. Chambers Jr., James M. Moroney Jr., Richard Phelan, J.Fred Schoellkopf, Wilson Schoellkopf, Hugo W. Schoellkopf Jr. and Pat Rutherford."1

     Gottlieb Henry Schoellkopf was born on 24 September 1849 at Germany.1,2 He married Hedwig Boll, daughter of Prof. Jacob Boll, before 1885. "Schoellkopf Funeral Held - Body of Manufacturer Sent to San Antonio for Cremation. - The body of G.H. Schoellkopf, head of the Schoellkopf Company, saddlers, and early resident of this city, who died Friday at the home of his daughter Mrs. M.M. Mayfield 4646 St. John's Drive, was taken to San Antonio Saturday night for cremation. Members of the family accompanied the body to San Antonio. Mr. Schoellkopf's ashes will be placed in the famly plot in Greenwood Cemetery.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Mayfield home. Dean Robert S. Chalmers of St. Matthew's Cathedral conducted the services.
Surviving Mr. Schoellkopf are a brother, Jacob Schoellkopf, who lives in Germany, and the following children: J.Fred Schoellkopf, Mrs. M.M. Mayfield, Hugo W. Schoellkopf, Mrs. Elsie Milliken, Mrs. Clarence L. Norsworthy, Mrs. G.O. Moore and Mrs Louis Raichie, whose home is in Switzerland, but who is now in Dallas. He is also survived by nine grandchildren. His wife died twenty-five years ago.
Mr. Schoellkopf was amember of the Knights of Phthias and the Dallas Athletic Club and was a Master Mason."2

     Jacob Fred Schoellkopf was born on 4 May 1880 at Dallas, Dallas County, Texas.1 He was the son of Gottlieb Henry Schoellkopf and Hedwig Boll.1 He married Bess Wilson before 1906.2 He died on 6 December 1949 at Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, at age 69.1 Obituary for J. "Fred Schoellkopf's Service Wednesday - Funeral services for J. Fred Schoellkopf, 69, president of the Schoellkopf Company will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Hillcrest Mausoleum, where entombment will follow.
Schoellkopf died Tuesday at a Dallas hopital after an illness of several days. Dr. William M. Elliott, pastor of Highland Park Presbyterian Church, of which Schoellkopf was a member, will conduct services. The Sparkman-Brand Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Schoellkopf was the son of G.H. Schoellkopf, one of this city's industrial pioneers. The elder Schoellkopf came to Texas from Germany, and founded the saddlery and leather business in 1869.
The son was born in Dallas, and received his early education in its public and private schools. He was graduated from the Pennsylvania Military Academy at Chester, Pa., in 1900. Not long afterward, he entered his father's business.
He was a director of the First National Bank and of the Airmaid Hosiery Company. His club memberships included the Brook Hollow Golf Club, the Koon Kreek Klub and the Dallas Athletic Club. He loved to hunt and fish, and had shot for big game in Wyoming and British Columbia.
He and his wife, the former Bess Wilson, daughter of J.B. Wilson, lived at 3905 Beverly. She survives.
He is also survived by two sons, J.Fred Schoellkopf Jr. and Wilson Schoellkopf, both of Dallas; a brother, Hugo W. Schoellkopf, Dallas; five sisters, Mrs Morgan M. Mayfield. Mrs. Clarence L. Norsworthy, Mrs. S. Ramsey Milliken and Mrs. Garrett O. Moore, all of Dallas, and Mrs. Louis Raichle of Switzerland, and six grandchildren."1
