     Cora Keaton was born circa 1878 at Shelby County, Indiana.¹ She married William A. Shank circa 1898 at Shelby County, Indiana. She died on 13 February 1915 at Fountaintown, Shelby County, Indiana.¹

Mrs. Cora Shank, 36 years old, one of the highly esteemed matrons of the northern part of the county, wife of William Shank, died at their home in Fountaintown, Saturday afternoon at four o'clock, from heart trouble. The death came most unexpectedly to her relatives and many friends, as she had only been ill four days and her condition was not at all considered serious.
La grippe was indirectly the cause of the untimely death, as she fell a victim to the disease Wednesday. As la grippe is quite common in this state, nothing seriously was thought of the ailment and only home remedies were applied. Saturday afternoon she suffered from an attack of the heart and death followed almost immediately.
Mrs. Shank was born and reared in Shelby county and was widely known thruout the northern part of the county. She possessed a true christian character and was loved by all who knew her. She was a member of the Fountaintown Christian church and was ever faithful to the teachings of her Master.
The death is an extrememly sad one, as she leaves six small chldren, the oldest of whom, a son, William, is only fifteen years old. The other children are five daughters, the youngest being two years old. They are Carol, Mae, Anna, Grace and Pauline. These little ones with their father, her mother, Mrs. Elmira Keaton, of Fountaintown; two sisters, Mrs. Elmer Rafferty, of Fountaintown, and Mrs. Henry Wood, of Greenfield, and one brother, Carey Keaton, of Maxwell, survive to mourn the loss.
The funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at ten o'clock, the Rev. Ernest Addison officiating, and the interment will be made in the Fountaintown cemetery in charge of Herlich & Son.²

     Chesley Keatts was born after 1886. He was the son of James A. Keatts and Mary Dallas Berhines.

     Elbert Grant Keatts was born on 3 March 1888 at Stewart County, Tennessee.¹ He was the son of James A. Keatts and Mary Dallas Berhines.¹ He died on 8 April 1969 at Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee, at age 81.¹

     Goldie F. Keatts was born on 15 August 1886 at Tennessee.¹ She was the daughter of James A. Keatts and Mary Dallas Berhines. She married Garland Elias Milliken, son of John Beard Milliken and Annie E. Grizzard, circa 1903 at Tennessee.¹ She died on 3 February 1973 at Clarksville, Stewart County, Tennessee, at age 86. She was buried after 3 February 1973 at Stewart County, Tennessee.

     James A. Keatts was born before 1870. He married Mary Dallas Berhines before 1886.

     Bessie C. Keeton is the daughter of James Samuel Keeton and Addie Susan Williams.¹

     Blanche A. Keeton was born on 20 May 1895.¹ She was the daughter of James Samuel Keeton and Addie Susan Williams.¹

     Dollie Laura Keeton was born on 8 November 1893.¹ She was the daughter of James Samuel Keeton and Addie Susan Williams.¹

     Hattie Bracie Keeton was born on 15 December 1897.¹ She was the daughter of James Samuel Keeton and Addie Susan Williams.¹
