     Madora Hunter was born on 19 April 1878 at Yell County, Arkansas.1,2 He was the son of James L. Hunter and Malissa Adeline Brashear.3 He married Ida Mae Offill on 25 September 1898 at Morris County, Texas.4,5 After the death of John Wesley Hunter and his wife Laura their children came to live with John's brother Dora and his wife Ida.6 He died on 27 May 1936 at Mount Pleasant, Titus County, Texas, at age 58.7
