     Mary was the daughter of Dr. Henry Desmet. She came to Texas with her parents in 1855 as colonists with the La Reunion colony in Dallas County. In 1867 in Weatherford, Texas, she married John B. Louckx. She died in 1869, probably in Dallas.

Tredo, on 9 May 1930 at Burlington, Chittenden County, Vermont.1 He died on 17 January 1969 at Burlington, Chittenden County, Vermont, at age 60.4

     John Douglas Detore also went by the name of Jack.3 He was born on 2 August 1935 at Burlington, Chittenden County, Vermont.1,2 He was the son of James Vincent Detore and Elsie Mae Jordan.1 He married Cecilia Raposa Araujo, daughter of Albert Araujo, on 27 June 1959 at Fall River, Briston County, Massachusetts.4 He and Cecilia Raposa Araujo were divorced on 2 September 1981 at Vermont.5 He married Beverly Ann Nelson, daughter of Lyle S. Nelson and Mildred H. Engel, on 24 April 1983 at Burlington, Chittenden County, Vermont.6 He died on 24 May 2015 at South Dakota at age 79.3

- John D. Detore, 79, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015 at his home in South Dakota with his wife, Beverly and his dog and cat companions by his side.
John Douglas "Jack" Detore, son of James V. Detore and Elsie M. (Jordan) Detore, was born August 2, 1935 in Burlington, VT. In his retirement years, Jack enjoyed times between his homes in Colchester, VT, Estero, FL and South Dakota.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Nelson; two children, Lisa (Bill) DiGuiseppe of Newton, N.H., and Jack Detore, Burlington, Vt; three grandchildren, Nicolas, Melissa and Christopher; three siblings, Jim (Christine) Detore of Margate, Fla., Dick Detore of Port St. Lucie, Fla; and Judi (Sid) of Tucson, Ariz; his former wife, Cecilia of Fall River, Mass; and several nieces, nephews and special friends. Jack was preceded in death by his parents; infant brother, William; and a sister-in-law, Johann.
