Mr. Curt Shaw, 67, of Colorado C ty died Friday, October 25, 2002 in an Abilene hospital. Funeral services were held Sunday, October 27, 2002 in the Oak St. Baptist Church with Dr. Bentley Gwyn and Rev. Gene Self officiating.
Burial followed in the Dorn Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. Shaw was born to Lem and Lucille Lawrence Shaw on March 9, 1935 in Ben Wheeler. He married Vesta Dorn on August 30, 1954 in Dallas. He was a member of Oak St. Baptist Church and a dedicated servant of the Lord.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Vesta Shaw of Colorado City; two daughters, Connie Padilla of Houston and Sheila Redwine of Colorado City; three grandchildren; one sister, Pansy Bodiford of Snyder and a twin brother Curtis Shaw o f Colorado City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Letha Shaw , a son, Tony Shaw and three brothers, Bill Shaw , Roy Shaw and Charles Shaw.1
