     Stephen Shuler was born circa 1837 at Virginia.¹ He was the son of Adam Shuler and Elizabeth Hall.¹

     Stephen Leander Shuler was born circa 1864 at Virginia.¹ He was the son of James K. Shuler and Lois E. Unknown.¹

     Steve Shuler married Mattie Allen before 1858.

     Suffira Shuler was born circa 1824 at USA.¹ She was the daughter of Michael Nicholas Shuler Jr. and Charity Anna Myers.¹

     Susan Shuler was born circa 1832 at Virginia.¹ She was the daughter of Adam Shuler and Elizabeth Hall.¹

     Sylvester Kindred Shuler was a farmer.² He was born on 19 March 1878 at Indiana Death Certificate list birth year as 1879.^1,2 He was the son of John Kindred Shuler and Sarah Jane Ground.¹ The cause of death for Sylvester Kindred Shuler was a coronary thrombosis due to arterriosclerosis and cardiad decompensation.² He died on 18 October 1955 at Martinsville, Morgan County, Indiana, at age 77.²

     Terry Louise Shuler was born on 28 November 1960 at Cleburne, Johnson County, Texas.¹ She was the daughter of Bobby Charles Shuler and Evelyn Louise Laird.¹ She died on 30 November 1960 at Burleson, Johnson County, Texas.¹

     Thaniel Ray Shuler also went by the name of Ray.³ He was employed as a barber like his brother Lowell.² He was born on 23 May 1903 at Joshua, Johnson County, Texas.^1,2 He was the son of Joseph Stevens Shuler and Cora Ellen Waddell.¹ He married Dovie Pruitt before 1922 at Texas.⁴ He died on 22 November 1979 at Bonham, Fannin County, Texas, at age 76.²

Mr. T. Ray Shuler

Services for Mr. T. Ray Shuler, 76, of 121 S. Main St. in Bonham, who died early Thursday morning at Fannin County Hsopital, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Willow Wild Cemetery.

Mr. Shuler was born in Joshua, Texas May 23, 1903, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph S. Shuler. He was a member of the Clark Memorial Methodist Church and was past secretary and president of the Texas State Barber Board. He was owner of a barber school in Ft. Worth.

Mr. Shuler was a member of the Masonic Lodge and had served two terms as Fannin County Clerk in the late 1940s.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dovie Pruitt Shuler, who died May 20, 1978.

Survivors include two sons, Harold Ray Shuler of Richardson and Michael Stephen Shuler of Manetowe, Wisc; two daughters, Mrs. Joyce Veltri of Coconut Creek, Florida and Mrs. Pat Turman of Bonham; one brother, Fred Shuler of Bonham; one sister, Mrs. Ella Lee of Blanchard, Okla; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Lowell Shuler of Bonham; 17 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Melvin Shuler, Kurt Gopffarth, Wesley Farmer, Henry Earl Ridings, Orville Herd and Clarence Elkins.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 7 till 8 p.m.
