     Mary Jordan was born circa 1833 at Essex County, New York.1 She was the daughter of Eleazer Jordan and Hannah Unknown. She appeared on the census of 26 July 1850 in the household of Eleazer Jordan and Fanny Unknown at Moriah, Essex County, New York.2 She appeared on the census of 11 June 1855 in the household of John H. Jordan at Moriah, Essex County, New York.3 She died before 1906.4

     Richard William Jordan was born on 29 December 1921 at Vergennes, Addison County, Vermont.1,2,3 He was the son of Chester Benjamin Jordan and Lucy Ursella Trudeau.1 He died on 18 November 1984 at Burlington, Chittenden County, New York, at age 62.2

VERGENNES - Richard W. Jordan, 68, dies early Sunday morning, Nov. 18, in Burlington.
He was born in Vergennes on Dec. 29, 1920, the son of Chester and Lucy (Trudeau) Jordan. He was a member of Vergennes American Legion Post 14.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Richard (Elizabeth) Poquette and Mrs. Elsie Mitchell, both of Vergennes; one brother, George Babson of Concord, Calif; several nieces and nephews.
Interment will be in Prospect Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Vergennes Area Rescue Squad, Box 11, Vergennes. The Brown-McClay Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.4
