     James Able Edwards also went by the name of Bud.1 He was born on 9 April 1858 at Mississippi.1,2 He was the son of J.E. Edwards and Zenlda Stone.3 He married Elizabeth Adaline Wilson, daughter of C.B. Wilson and Jerline Allen, circa 1881 at Tennessee; James was unmarried in the 1880 census and married 19 years in the 1900 census.4,5,6 He married Audie M. Brannon on 20 November 1920 at Henry County, Tennessee; or 21 Nov 1920 (research.)7,8 He died on 8 October 1932 at Paris, Henry County, Tennessee, at age 74.2,3 After the death of James the younger Edwards children were split up and went to the Tennessee Industrial School with the exception of Joe who stayed with his mother Audie.9
