She married Dora James Turner on 23 May 1981.^1,2 She died on 21 March 2008 at Greenwood, Johnson County, Indiana, at age 48. She was buried on 25 March 2008 at Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana.

     Gabriel Elizabeth Eakes also went by the name of Gaby. She was born on 21 January 1957 at Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana.¹ She was the daughter of Arvin Jack Eakes I and Lois Annette Bow. She died on 5 July 2013 at Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana, at age 56; (Gaby was found on the 5th. She possibly died on the 4th.)² Gabriel E. Eakes, 55, Indianapolis, passed away at her residence on July 5, 2013. She was born in Indianapolis to Arvine “Jack” and Lois “Ann” Eakes on January 21, 1958. Gabriel is survived by her mother Ann Eakes; sister, Judy (Edward) Epperson; partner, Brenda Rigdon and her daughter, Keila Duh; nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Debbie, and Eddie Epperson, Penny and Jim Turner, and Jack Eakes; and several great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Arvine “Jack” Eakes, 2 siblings, Jack Eakes, & Debbie Turner; & a nephew Joey Eakes.
Services will be Friday at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Service, July 12, 2013 at 3:30 with visitation from 1:30.³ She was memorialized in a service on 12 July 2013 at Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana.^4,3
