Martha Justice

F, b. 1 May 1753, d. 17 July 1813
     Martha Justice was born on 1 May 1753 at Virginia. She married Henry Parks, son of John Parks and Ann Toney, on 9 December 1782 at Wilkes County, North Carolina. She died on 17 July 1813 at Franklin County, Georgia, at age 60.

Felix Grundy Karnes1

M, b. 11 August 1878, d. 9 October 1922
      Felix Grundy Karnes was listed as a blacksmith in the 1910 census in Oklahoma, but eventually got work in the oilfiields. When he registered for the draft, during WWI, he was a tool dresser for Roxana Petroleum. In July 1921, Felix applied for a U.S. Passport to work as a driller for Caribbean Petroleum Company in Venezuela. The move cost him his life. A little over a year later, in October of 1922, Felix contracted intestinal colitis and died in Maracaibo.2,3,1

He was born on 11 August 1878 at Chico, Wise County, Texas.4,1,3 He was the son of Manoah Franklin Karnes and Callie Gregory. He married Ida R. Myers circa 1902 at Texas.5 He died on 9 October 1922 at Maracaibo, Estado Zulia, at age 44.2
