     Francis James Jordan was born circa 1840 at New York. He was the son of Eleazer Jordan and Hannah Unknown. Jordan at Moriah, Essex County, New York.1 He died before 1906.3

     Frederick F. Jordan also went by the name of Fred.4 He appeared on the census of 28 July 1870 in the household of Sylvenus Jordan and Charlotte Jordan at Moriah, Essex County, New York.5 He was born on 10 October 1870 at Mineville, Essex County, New York.1,4 He was the son of Sylvenus Jordan and Charlotte Gibson.1 He appeared on the census of 18 June 1880 in the household of Charlotte Gibson at Mineville, Essex County, New York.2 He married Rose M. Hurlburt, daughter of Nelson Hurlburt and Saphrona Duprey, on 19 December 1894 at Bristol, Addison County, Vermont.4,3 He died in 1926 at Vergennes, Addison County, New York.4

Fred Jordan

Funeral services for Fred Jordan, a brief account of whose death was given last week were held Saturday at the funeral parlors of William E. Larrow. The Rev. H. H. Richardson officiated and the bearers were Walter, Arthur and Henry Rogers, Chester Jordan, Asa Hawkins and Ralph Adams. Burial was made in Prospect Cemetery.
Fred Jordan was born in Mineville, N. Y., October 10, 1870, the son of Verne and Charlotte Gibson Jordan, but most of his life had been spent in Vergennes. In 1894 he was married to Miss Rose Hurlburt of Bristol, who died several years ago. He is survived by two sons, Ralph and Raymond Jordan and three daughters, the Misses Bessie, Ethel and Christie Jordan; also two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Rogers of Panton and Mrs. Cora Smith of Burlington.
Mr. Jordan was for many years employed by J. W. & D. E. Ryan. Some months ago the family moved to Paterson, N. J., where they had since made their home. Mr. Jordan had been for some weeks subject to periodical attacks, the nature of which his physician seemed unable to determine, but from which he appeared to recover and was able to return to work. It was during one of these attacks that the end came, suddenly and without warning.4

She married Charles Edwin Hill, son of Reuben Charles Aaron Hill and Dorothy Alice Eldridge, on 26 June 1947 at Parishville, Saint Lawrence County, New York.2 She lived in 1948 at California.3 She lived in 1975 at Essex Junction, Chittenden County, Vermont.4 She lived in 1986 at Essex Junction, Chittenden County, Vermont.5 She lived in 1993 at Sun City West, Maricopa County, Arizona.5 She lived in 1993 at Essex Junction, Chittenden County, Vermont.5 She died on 27 July 2005 at Essex Junction, Chittenden County, Vermont, at age 75.1 She was buried on 1 August 2005 at Randolph Center, Orange County, Vermont.1

     Harvey Ernest Jordan was born on 14 September 1928 at Larimore, Grand Forks County, North Dakota. He was the son of Durward E. Jordan and Edith Gwen Jones. He appeared on the census of 19 April 1930 in the household of Archer J. Jordan at Larimore Township, Grand Forks County, North Dakota.1 He graduated in 1946 at Larimore, Grand Forks County, North Dakota.2 He began military service in 1951. He ended military service in 1953 at Agusta, Kalamazoo County, Michigan. He married Ursula Mae Hermanson, daughter of Alvin Hermanson and Victoria Lund, after 1953. He and Ursula Mae Hermanson were divorced circa 1980. He married Irene White after 1980. He died on 7 May 2009 at Edgerton, Rock County, Wisconsin, at age 80.3,2 Harvey E. Harvey E. Jordan, 80, of Edgerton, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2009,
at his home. He was born on Sept. 14, 1928, in Larimore, ND, a son of the
late Durward and Edith (Jones) Jordan. He was united in marriage to Ursula
Hermanson and Irene White. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, model railroads
and gardening. He graduated from Larimore High School in 1946. He was drafted
in 1951 and after graduating from Boot Camp, he was shipped to Fort McCoy,
and then, to Ansbach, Germany. With Corporals pay and Sergeants duty's and
stripes, he returned to the United States and was honorably discharged at
Fort Custer, Michigan. He, then, worked for Fisher Body Assembly from 1953
until his retirement in 1983. He was a member of the UAW Local 95, the
American Legion, the NRA, the Edgerton Memorial Squad, and former Commander
of the VFW and the Military Order of the Cooties. He served as a Cub and
Weblos Leader and was Assistant Scout Master. He held the prestigious
Order of the Arrow. He was also an NRA hunter safety instructor, and
helped out at the VA Hospital in Madison for over ten years.
He is survived by two daughters, Gwen Jordan of Janesville and
Denise Jordan of Norfolk, NE; three sons: Douglas Jordan of Milton,
Scott D. Jordan of Janesville and Mathew Jordan of Edgerton; two stepsons,
Jeff White of Janesville and Paul White of Fort Atkinson; one stepdaughter,
Janet White of Fort Atkinson; and one brother, Dennis Jordan of Janesville.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Joyce West and Janice Jordan;
a grandson, Dion Jordan; a sister, Vera; and three brothers:
Edward, Wilford and David.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at 11 a.m.
at the EHLERT FUNERAL HOME, (US HWY 51 S), Edgerton, with the
Rev. Larry Mackenzie officiating. Friends may call on Monday, May 11, 2009,
at the FUNERAL HOME from 5 until 7 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until
the time of the services. Full Military Rites will be held at the funeral
home by the Edgerton Memorial Squad.2

     Janice Ann Jordan was born on 25 June 1959 at Grand Rapids, Itasca County, Minnesota.1,3 She was the daughter of Edward Llewellyn Jordan and Dorothy Ann Beauregard.1,3 She was baptized on 30 June 1963 at Bovey, Itasca County, Minnesota.4 She was adopted, along with her sisters, Denise and Joyce, by their uncle and aunt Harvey and Ursula Jordan after the death of her parents after March 1965.5 She married Daniel John Brown on 14 March 1987 at Rock County, Wisconsin.6 She died on 18 April 2008 at Milton, Rock County, Wisconsin, at age 48.1,7

Janice A. Jordan, 48, of Edgerton, WI, died unexpectedly at her home on Friday, April 18, 2008. She was born in Grand Rapids, MN, on June 25, 1959, a daughter of the late Edward L. Jordan and the late Dorothy A. Beauregard. Janice was raised by her uncle and aunt, Harvey Jordan and Ursula Jordan-Showers, whom she referred to as her parents. Janice graduated from Edgerton High School in 1977 and worked at the Rock County Health Care Center for 22 years, retiring in 2006. Janice enjoyed camping, special weekends with the girls, and spending time with her family and grandchildren, whom she truly adored.

She is survived by three children: Jason Jordan of Norfork, NE, Jenna (Josh Viney) Jordan of Janesville, and Brandon Brown of Milton, WI; grandchildren: Landon Viney, Jordyn Viney, Josilynn Jordan, and Saige Jordan; her father, Harvey Jordan of Edgerton; her sisters: Denise Jordan, Gwen (Janice) Jordan and Ruby McDaniel; her brothers: Doug Jordan, Matt Jordan, and Scott Jordan; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her biological parents, Dorothy Beauregard and Edward Jordan, she was preceded in death by her mother, Ursula Jordan-Showers; and her sister, Joyce Jordan.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Janice's life that will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2008, at the ROCK RIVER LEISURE ESTATES RECREATION CENTER, 530 Ellendale Rd., Edgerton.
