     James A. Arnett was born in November 1837 at Cuba, Allen County, Indiana.2 He began military service on 18 September 1861 at Indiana Enlisted in Company G, Indiana 38th Infantry Regiment on 18 Sep 1861.3 He ended military service on 15 July 1865 at Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky; Mustered out on 15 Jul 1865 at Louisville, KY.3 He married Mary A. Kiphart on 28 July 1868 at Owen County, Indiana.4 He married Hannah Isabelle Denny on 10 April 1878 at Owen County, Indiana.5 He died on 12 March 1927 at Linton, Greene County, Indiana, at age 89.6 He was buried after 12 March 1927 at Linton, Greene County, Indiana.1
