     Bobbie Joe Allison also went by the name of Bob.² He was born on 14 April 1932 at Colorado City, Mitchell County, Texas.¹ He was the son of Ozro Allison and Maude Juanita Anderson.¹ He married Violet Ruth Demke, daughter of Friedrich Demke and Natalia Buchwitz, on 3 November 1951 at Lodi, San Joaquin County, California.³ He died on 30 December 2020 at California at age 88.⁴

Bobbie “Bob” Allison went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 30, 2020. He was born on April 14, 1932 in Colorado City, Texas. He leaves behind his adored wife of 69 years, Vi, and his children Denise Irvin (Roy) of Manteca and Kathleen Blue (Jarado) of Indio. In addition, he was blessed with three grandchildren, Dionne McDonald (David), Chad Irvin, and Adriana Blue and two great grandchildren, Morgan and Natalia McDonald.

Bob spent his early years growing up in Escalon and gradutated from Escalon High School. He served his country proudly through the United States Air Force and after his discharge settled his young family in Tracy until 1973 when he moved to Manteca where he resided until his death. He retired from Pacific Bell Telephone Company after 30 years working in Tracy and Stockton. He was a member of Refuge Church, Manteca, where he faithfully attended and served for 47 years.

Bob never knew a stranger, loved to tease, and was a faithful 49er fan, but it was his love for God and family that was always his priority in life. He loved any time family was gathered together. Weekly Sunday lunch after church, which usually included a game of pool, and summer vacations with family in Carmel were some of his favorite times. After retirement, he enjoyed many years of travel which included most of the United States and many cruises with his wife and special friends. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather (affectionately known as BobBob), and faithful friend.

Bob always said “so long” instead of goodbye because he felt goodbye sounded too permanent. Following his example, with a heavy heart but thankful spirit, his family will say “so long” in a private service at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Santa Nella, CA.

     Delaine Victoria Allison was born in December 1859 at Tennessee.¹ She was the daughter of William Malachi Allison and Agatha Caroline Adams.^2,3 She married Gilbert I. Christian on 30 December 1880 at Madison County, Tennessee.^1,4 She died on 27 October 1955 at Freestone County, Texas, at age 95.⁵

     Delila Allison was born circa 1833 at Tennessee.¹ She was the daughter of William Malachai Allison and Mary Ellison.¹

     Emmon B. Allison was born circa 1871 at Tennessee.¹ She was the daughter of William Malachi Allison and Agatha Caroline Adams.^1,2

     Francis M Allison was born circa 1834 at Tennessee.¹ He was the son of William Malachai Allison and Mary Ellison.¹

     Jackson F. Allison was born circa 1865 at Tennessee.¹ He was the son of William Malachi Allison and Agatha Caroline Adams.¹

     James Allison was born circa 1824 at Tennessee.

     James R. Allison is the son of Samuel Rufus Allison.

     Jewell Allison was born on 6 March 1915 at Mitchell County, Texas. She was the daughter of Samuel Rufus Allison and Dora A Cagle. She died on 13 January 1918 at Limestone County, Texas, at age 2.
