Larry Wayne Williams, better known as “Meathead” to those that knew and loved him, passed away at his home on January 13, 2024. Born on March 19, 1953 to the late Alvie and Mattie (Overbey) Williams.

Meathead was a devoted husband to his loving wife Linda Jean (Bow) Williams for 49 years. He was a proud father to his sons Kevin Wayne and Keith Wayne Williams and adored his cherished grandchildren, “Little Bit” - Olivia Grace Williams & “Bubba Dozer” - River Scott Putnam. Meathead is also survived by his brother “Gomer” - Gerald Dean Williams and his sister Christine (Williams) Brutcher, along with a wide circle of family members and friends who were touched by his warmth.

Meathead spent his life enjoying his three favorite hobbies; photography, riding his Harley along side his lifelong friends, and fishing trips with his brother to Reelfoot, TN, their favorite destination.

Visitation will be at Fountain Square Mortuary in Indianapolis from 3 to 7 pm on Wedneaday, January17, with a memorial service at 7 pm. Meathead’s favorite color (red) or biker attire is encouraged to celebrate and honor his legacy.
