     Jerrie Eugenia Milliken was born on 23 July 1945 at Houston, Harris County, Texas.^1,3 She was the daughter of Robert Hamilton Milliken and Sue Elizabeth Edwards.¹ She married Douglas Michael Allen, son of William Edward Allen Sr. and Zadie V Barfield, on 31 August 1962.² She died on 15 October 2006 at age 61.²


Mrs. Jerrie Allen, age 61, of Gatesville, died Sunday, October 15, 2006, at her residence.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 18, 2006, at 10 a.m. at the Gatesville Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Walter Davidson officiating. Burial was in Restland Cemetery.
Mrs. Allen was born July 23, 1945, in Houston, Texas, to the late Robert and Elizabeth Edwards Milliken. She attended Smiley High School in Houston. Jerrie married Douglas Michael Allen on August 31, 1963. She worked for twelve years at Wal-Mart as the garden center manager. Mrs Allen was preceded in death by her husband; two sisters, Carolyn Taylor and Barbara Collem; and a grandson Douglas Allen III.
She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Newman and husband David of Gatesville andSabrina Alexander and husband Mike of Georgetown; Son, Douglas Allen II and wife Jeananne of Gatesville; brother, Richard Milliken f Crosby, Texas; eight grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.⁴

     Jesse Milliken was born after 1780. He was the son of James Milliken and Rachel Kelly.

     Jesse Milliken was born on 4 March 1793 or 4 March 1795 at Pittsboro, Chatham County, North Carolina.^1,2 He was the son of Quinton Milliken.³ He married Mahala H. Rowe, daughter of John Rowe and Mary Brantley, on 28 January 1846.¹ He and Mahala H. Rowe appeared on the census of 14 September 1850 at Chatham County, North Carolina.⁴ He died on 7 July 1887 at Chatham County, North Carolina.^1,5

     Dr. Jesse Milliken was born circa 1790. He was the son of Robert Milliken and Jane Unknown.¹ He married Ann West, daughter of Reverend William West, circa 1810.¹ He lived circa 1817 at Calloway County, Kentucky.² He lived circa 1825 at Simpson County, Kentucky.² He died circa 1834 at Simpson County, Kentucky.²

     Jesse E. Milliken is the son of Dr. John Bunyan Milliken D.D.S. and Joyce Winifred Edwards.¹

     Jesse Fearington Milliken is the son of John Rowe Milliken and Dorothy Eloise Broadwell.¹

     Jesse Fearrington Milliken was a lawyer.³ He was born on 30 July 1888 at Pittsboro, Chatham County, North Carolina.^4,2,5 He was the son of Honorable John Rowe Milliken and Annie Bun Fearrington.⁴ He was called into service as a 2nd Lieutenant. He was stationed at Camp Jackson in South Carolina, Fort Sill in Oklahoma and Camp Meade in Maryland. on 27 November 1917.⁶ He began military service on 27 November 1917 at USA.⁶ He ended military service on 9 December 1918 at USA.⁶ He married Juanita Alexander, daughter of M. A. Alexander and Ida Unknown, on 7 June 1927 at USA.⁷ He died on 31 August 1957 at Monroe, Union County, North Carolina, at age 69.⁸

Monroe, Sept. 1--Jesse Fearrington Milliken, 69, died in a local hospital Saturday night. He had been a member of the law firm of Milliken and Richardson for 40 years, until ill health forced him to retire recently.
At the time of his deathhe was the director of the American Bank and Trust Company of Monroe. He had also served as mayor of Monroe, a member of the General Assembly, a trustee of the University of North Carolina, Union County attorney, a council member of the North Carolina State Bar, member of the City School Board, commander of American Legion Post No. 27 and president and chairman of the Union County FairAssociation.
Funeral services will be held in McEwan Funeral Home chapel in Monroe. Dr. Roy F. Whitley, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Monroe, and the Rev. F. B. Drane, rector of St. Paul Episcopal Church, will officiate.
Surviving are one son, J. R. Milliken of Monroe; one daughter, Mrs. William D. Benton of Monroe; two grandchildren; two brothers, Dr. J. B. Milliken of Siler City and Dr. James S. Milliken of Southern Pines; and one sister, Mrs. Fisher Makepeace of Sanford.
Milliken was the son of the late John Rowe and Annie Fearrington Milliken of Pittsboro. His wife, the former Juanita Alexander died a number of years ago.³

     Joe Don Milliken was born on 11 April 1975 at Canadian, Hemphill County, Texas.¹ He was the son of Joe Lynn Milliken and Martha Katherine Tuminaro. He died on 5 September 1991 at Odessa, Ector County, Texas, at age 16.²

Services for Joe Don Milliken, 16, of Odessa are scheduled for 10 a.m. today at Asbury Methodist Church with the Rev. Will Cotton officiating.

Burial will be in Coahoma Cemetery.

Mr. Milliken died Thursday, at Medical Center Hospital. He was born April 11, 1975, in Canadian.

Mr. Milliken was a junior at Permian High School. He swam with the swin team and was a skate boarder. He played Nintendo and was a baseball card collector. He has lived in Odessa since seventh grade.

Survivors include his parents Joe and Mary Milliken of Odessa and Martha Milliken of Midland; a brother Cody Thompson of Odessa; two sisters, Melanie Milliken and Mary Milliken, both of Midland; and grandparents, Russell Milliken of Burnet and Ruth Sotkovski of Midland.

     Joe Lynn Milliken is the son of Russell Franklin Milliken Jr. and Nelda Jo York. He married Martha Katherine Tuminaro on 15 November 1971 at Hemphill County, Texas.¹ He and Martha Katherine Tuminaro were divorced before 1985. He married Mary Ann Farris, daughter of Johnnie Dean Farris and Lydia Jo Allcorn, on 25 July 1985 at Ector County, Texas.²

     John Milliken was born circa 1772 at Orange County, North Carolina.^2,3 He was the son of Robert Milliken and Jane Unknown.¹ He died on 23 August 1845 at USA.³
