     William Horace Wells was born on 23 October 1820 at Kentucky.2 He was the son of Jesse Wells.3 He married Mary E. Porter, daughter of Samuel Porter, before 1843 at Todd County, Kentucky. He appeared on the census of 2 August 1850 at Todd County, Kentucky.4 He died on 30 April 1854 at Todd County, Kentucky, at age 33.2,3 He was buried after 30 April 1854 at Elkton, Todd County, Kentucky.2
