She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Gilmer; daughter, Nancy Parks, brother, James “Buck” Martin, sister, Claudene Pool, sister, Patsy Bickley and brother, Cecil Martin.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 15, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Saturday July 16, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the Concord Cemetery.3 She was buried on 16 July 2016 at Omaha, Morris County, Texas.2
