LINDEN, Texas-Larry Copeland, 64, of Linden died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, in Linden.

Mr. Copeland was born Feb. 11, 1947 in Cass County, Texas. He was a pipefitter, a Navy veteran and member of Linden United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Marsha Copeland; one son, Curt Copeland; one daughter, Kathy Duncan; his mother, Kathryn Copeland; one brother, Charles Copeland; one sister, Faye Copeland; three grandchildren, Cody, Erin and Kassidy Duncan; one great-granddaughter, Kylee Terry; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Linden United Methodist Church with the Rev. Pat Sparks officiating. Burial will be in Wells Chapel Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home, Inc.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Wheel Hits, Kills Woman


A young Dallas woman was killed in the 3300 block of East R. L. Thornton Freeway late Thursday afternoon when the car in which she was riding was truck by a wheel which had flown off a truck traveling in the opposite direction.

The dead woman was identified as Mrs. Peggy Camacho, 22, o 10849 Cotillion. Dallas police said the left front wheel of a westbound truck flew off and went through the windshield on the passenger side of the eastbound Camacho vehicle.

The driver of the car, Mrs. Camacho's husband Alfred Camacho, 24, recieved minor injuries in the accident. The truck driver escaped injury.

Mr. and Mrs. Camacho were the only persons in the car.3
