     Edward Anderson Conkle was born circa 1900 at USA.¹ He was the son of Marion William Brantly Conkle and Annie Alsendy Brown.¹ He died circa 1971.¹

     Edwin Ray Conkle also went by the name of Ed.² He also belonged to the Scottish Rite fraternity of the Valley of Dallas region.³ He was born on 27 September 1937 at Johntown, Red River County, Texas.^1,4 He was the son of Willie Roland Conkle and Christeen Carrington.⁵ He married Sandra Anita Guy on 1 August 1964.⁶ He and Sandra Anita Guy were divorced on 27 July 1989 at Dallas County, Texas.⁶ He married Alberta Rees, daughter of John Leslie Rees and Lena Mae Ellett, on 5 September 1998 at Garland, Dallas County, Texas.¹ He died on 7 May 2010 at Tyler, Smith County, Texas, at age 72.^1,4 Edwin Ray Conkle

Cremation arrangements are by East Texas Funeral Home.

Mr. Conkle died May 7, 2010, in a Tyler hospital.

Mr. Conkle was born September 27, 1937, in Johnstown.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran, a 32 degree Mason and an engineer.

Survivors include his wife, Alberta Wilkerson Conkle; sons, Eric Conkle and Kevin Conkle; stepson, Jack E. Wilkerson; and sister, Susan Eiland.

     Loretta Dale Conkle also went by the name of Gigi.¹ She was born on 16 November 1942 at Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona.¹ She was the daughter of Willis Richard Conkle and Mable Bernice Peacock.¹ She married Marcus Bryant Yates circa 1963. She died on 10 August 2005 at Houston, Harris County, Texas, at age 62.¹

     Loyd Henry Conkle was born circa 1907 at USA.¹ He was the son of Marion William Brantly Conkle and Annie Alsendy Brown.¹ He died circa 1990 at USA.¹

     Marion William Brantly Conkle walked to Texas from Lookout Mountain, Cherokee County, Alabama. With him came his Brother, Agusta (Gus) and Friends, James L. Fate McClung and Marion New.The round trip to Texas and back to Lookout Mountain Alabama took approximately one year.
Soon Marion brought his family back to Texas , this time by train. Bringing his wife, Annie, his Mother-in-Law Henrietta Brown and 2 children, Texana and Edward Anderson. The train stopped in Carthage Texas and from there the family took a wagon to Titus County Stopping just southeast of Mt Pleasant, Texas. There they settled a farm.
The year they settled in Texas was 1903 but the exact date is unknown.^1,2 Marion William Brantly Conkle was born on 27 September 1876 at Cherokee County, Alabama.² He married Annie Alsendy Brown circa 1896 at Alabama.² He died on 25 April 1960 at Texarkana, Bowie County, Texas, at age 83.²

     Rebecca Ann Conkle also went by the name of Becky.¹ She was born on 26 November 1951 at Yorktown, DeWitt County, Texas.¹ She was the daughter of Willis Richard Conkle and Mable Bernice Peacock.¹ She married Michael Ramsey on 12 April 1968 at Dallas County, Texas.² She married Michael Ramsey on 17 April 1975 at Dallas County, Texas.³ She married an unknown person on 12 April 1990 at Dallas County, Texas.⁴ She died on 14 May 2011 at Plano, Collin County, Texas, at age 59.¹ Rebecca Ann Conkle "Becky" Ramsey

Ramsey, Rebecca Ann "Becky" Conkle Passed away May 14, 2011 at Baylor Regional Hospital, Plano, Collin County, Texas. She was born November 26, 1951 in Yorktown, DeWitt County, Texas to the late Willis Richard Conkle and Mable Bernice Peacock Conkle. She is preceded in death by one sister Loretta Dale Conkle Yates. Becky is survived by two sons and their spouses, Micheal Deshon Ramsey (Caroline) and Matthew Dwayne Ramsey (Leslie), eight grandchildren, Matthew Brennon Ramsey, Mikayla Breanne Ramsey, Micheal Brayden Ramsey, Victoria Susan Ramsey, Kathryn Leeann Ramsey, Madison Jane Ramsey, Joshua Noel Solorzano, and Matthew Ryan Salinas. She is also survived by two brothers and their wives, William Richard Conkle (Jayne) and Curtis Joleon Conkle (Jean). Visitation is Wednesday, May 18, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. Service at 12:30 p.m., Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Restland Wildwood Chapel, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX.
