She was a former recipient of the Pilot Club Citizen of the Year award and was a hospital volunteer for many years. She was active in her church and Boy Scout and Girl Scout activities.
Lucretia was always on the go and loved to travel, earning her the name "Roadrunner". She always had a smile, a kind word, and a helping hand for everyone.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Edward Donnelly and was survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Col. George Edward Donnelly, U.S.A.F. (Ret.) and his wife Virginia; daughter and son-in-law, Margaret Ruth and Rodney Allison; sister and brother-in-law, Zerline and Joe Leatherwood; grandchildren and their spouses, Dan and Sarah Donnelly, Doug Donnelly, Shantel and Ed Herman, Michael and Alissa Beattie; great grandchildren, Searra, Aspen, and Phoenix Donnelly and Logan and Gavin Beattie; "partner-in-crime". Ruth Simpson; special caregivers, James and Marie Robinson; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
Funeral services at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Hoffman officiating. Burial at Guedry Cemetery in Batson.2
