     Elizabeth Angelina Milliken also went by the name of Lina. She was born on 19 December 1890 at USA.1,2 She was the daughter of William Dickerson Milliken Sr. and Margaret Crockett Young.1 She a charter member of the Lewisville Study Club beginning in 1914 at Lewisville, Denton County, Texas.3 She was a teacher in Fort Worth in 1940.4 She was also a charter member of Chapter 935 Order of the Eastern Star which was formed in 1948 at Lewisville, Denton County, Texas.5 She was released from Flow Memorial Hospital according to an artlcle in the Denton Record Chronicle dated on 3 August 1955 at Denton, Denton County, Texas.6 She installed as the historian for the Women's Society of Christian Service on 27 May 1962 at Lewisville, Denton County, Texas.7 She died on 13 July 1983 at Texas at age 92.1,8 She was buried on 14 July 1983 at Lewisville, Denton County, Texas.

Lina, a lifetim resident of Lewisville, passed away in Dallas July 13, 1983. She was the daughter of William D. Milliken & Margaret Crockett Young. Survived by two nieces, Elizabeth Phelan Weber & Mollie Milliken Hayes, one nephew, Dick Milliken. Services July 16, 11 a.m., First Methodist Church, Lewisville, Rev.Kerby Edwards, officiating. Interment Old Hall Cemetery. She attended public schools & Kidd Key College in Sherman. Graduated North Texas State University, Denton, & Texas Christian University, Ft. Worth. She was an elementary school teacher for 40 years in Ft. Worth. In 1977 the Lina Milliken Middle School was dedicated in Lewisville. She was a member of Eastern Star, Ft. Worth Classrooms Teachers Association, American Association of University Women, D.A.R., Dallas Womens Club.
