     John Bawel was born circa December 1869 at Mifflin County, Pennsylvania.¹ He was the son of Heinrich Bawel and Catherine Calpetzer.¹

     Katharina Bawel was born on 3 September 1870 at Freinsheim, Dürkheim, Pfalz.¹ She was the daughter of Georg Franz Bawel and Anna Maria Höhn.¹ She died on 12 October 1870 at Freinsheim, Dürkheim, Pfalz.²

     Philipp Bawel was born on 24 March 1833 at Freinsheim, Pfalz, possibly born on 16 Feb 1833.^1,2,3 He was the son of Heinrich Bawel and Margaretha Gerber.¹ He emigrated with Heinrich Bawel and Margaretha Gerber on 23 November 1854 at Freinsheim, Pfalz; via Le Harve, France with their family aboard the ship St. Denis.¹ He married Elisabetha Neufeld, daughter of Christoph Neufeld and Catharina Elisabetha Leil, on 27 May 1862 at Dürkheim, Pfalz.³

     Regina Bawel was born circa 1808 at Dürkheim, Pfalz.¹ She was the daughter of Georg Franz Bawel and Katharina Elisabetha Renner.¹ She married Philipp Jakob Baab on 1 September 1831 at Freinsheim, Dürkheim, Pfalz.¹

     Amos Fisher Bawell was born on 29 April 1922 at West Earl Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.¹ He was the son of Daniel Bawell and Mary B. Fisher.^1,2 He married Rebecca F. Lapp, daughter of Jesse Lapp and Emma Fisher, after 1940 at Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.³ He died on 31 January 1981 at Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, at age 58.⁴

Amos Bawell, 58, Leola Farmer & Butcher, Dies

Amos Bawell, 58, of 173 Butter Road, Leola, was dead on arrival at Lancaster General Hospital at 4:50 p.m. Death was attributed ti natural causes.
A self-employes butcher and farmer, Bawell belonged to Mt. Tabor Church.
He was the husband of Rebecca Lapp Bawell. Born in West Earl Township, he was the son of the late Daniel and Mary Fisher Bawell.
Besides his wife, he is survived by these children: Jesse, Daniel, Amos, Jr., and Emma, wife of Amos Stoltzfus. all four of Leola; Naomi, Wife of David Witmer, Denver; Ruth, wife of John Smucker, McVeytown; Edna, wife of David Stoltzfus, Lancaster; 25 grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers: Rachel, wife of Leroy Ebersole; Leah Fisher and Daniel Bawell, of Leola, and Elias Bawell, Gap.
Also surviving are these foster children: Charles Walstrom, Ronnie Bawell, Connie Bawell, Kathy Bawell, all at home; and David Walstrom, U. S. Army, Kentucky.⁴

     Amos J. Bawell Jr. is the son of Amos Fisher Bawell and Rebecca F. Lapp.² He married Ida K. Fisher circa November 1978 at Pennsylvania.^3,4

     Anna Bawell was born circa 1876 at Pennsylvania.¹ She was the daughter of Heinrich Bawel and Catherine Calpetzer.¹

     Daniel Bawell was born on 16 September 1878 at Mifflin County, Pennsylvania.^2,3,4,5 He was the son of Heinrich Bawel and Catherine Calpetzer.³ He married Mary B. Fisher on 10 December 1903 at Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.^2,6 He died on 6 January 1957 at Bareville, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, at age 78.³
Daniel Bawell, seventy-eight, died yesterday about 7:30 a.m. at the home of a son, Amos Bawell, Bareville R1, after a long illness.
He was born in Mifflin County, a son of the late Henry and Catherine Calpetzer Bawell and was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Amish Church and husband of the late Mary Fisher Bawell.
Surviving are these sons and daughters: Rachael, wife of Leroy B. Ebersole; Mrs Leah Fisher, Daniel Bawell, Jr., and Sylvia, wife of Levi S. Stoltzfoos, all of Bareville R1; Ekias Bawell, of Sheridan R1; and Amos Bawell with whom he resided.
Also surviving are 35 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a brother John Bawell, Iowa City, Iowa.³

     Daniel Bawell is the son of Daniel Bawell and Mary B. Fisher.¹
