     Robert Joshua Epps was born on 24 February 1891 at Streetman, Navarro County, Texas.1,2,3 He was the son of Thomas Elbert Epps and Margaret Elizabeth Cone.2 He began military service on 14 July 1917 at Houston, Harris County, Texas, in the United States Navy.4 He ended military service on 25 September 1919 at Dallas, Dallas County, Texas.4 He married Gurley Lee Milliken, daughter of Robert Harris Milliken and Francis Isabelle Ham, on 27 October 1929 at Fairfield, Freestone County, Texas.5 He died on 5 November 1964 at Houston, Harris County, Texas, at age 73.6
